Looks like FC Bayern won the fight against Manchester United for Min-Jae Kim.

According to Skysports Bayern is paying around 50kk € for the release clause from his current contract.
His yearly salary will be around 10-12kk €

I have to admit, that i know almost nothing about Min Jae Kim and i think i have never seen him play over a full game so far, so i can not really tell yet if this would be a good transfer for Bayern Munich or not because 50 Million € is a serious amount of money. It makes sense though because Bayern will most likely lose 2 defenders at one this summer with Pavard and Hernandez.
It also makes sense that Kim is choosing Bayern over ManU. Bayern is just the way better Team in the last few years.

Munich made a 5 year direct contract deal for Min Jae Kim. it looks like Munich has high hopes for this defender. Even though Kim will be able to enter the Munich squad directly, the long contract that was carried out seems to have optimism from Munich to develop Kim in the coming seasons.
somehow I prefer Kim to United. in the Premier League, he can have a bigger challenge I feel than in the Bundesliga. which in terms of competition I think is still better in Serie A.

So good, so far! Just think about what happened with Manchester United. It's good move from Bayern Munich secured this deal. I initially believed that the player's heart was set on joining Manchester United.

Min-Jae Kim is truly a great defender. Bayern Munich succeeds in signing him, it will be a significant addition for the team. Their defense struggles from the previous season, which ultimately led to their defeat against Manchester City. Adding Kim's boost up their defense.

Havertz is a done deal for Arsenal officially. Chelsea are still not in profit in this deal though considering how much money they spend on his transfer before - €80m. But at least they managed to prevent a huge loss for themselves. His market value has dropped significantly meanwhile and I would have never expected him to be signed for this much money honestly.

I wonder why Arsenal were okay to spend €75m in total for Havertz. Chelsea didn't make him play in his natural position mostly maybe. But we still don't know how beneficial he would be for Arsenal even though I wouldn't expect Arsenal to do the same as Chelsea.

Arsenal are about to spend a huge sum this summer considering Rice signing also. I hope Havertz and Rice both show a really impressive performance in the new season.
Finally, after a week ago the agreement between Arsenal and Chelsea was revealed through Fabrizio Romano and now Arsenal have officially introduced Kai Havertz at the Emirates Stadium. Of course, The Gooners are very pleased with his arrival and can't wait to see Havertz wearing the Arsenal jersey next season. With this transfer fee, it is actually quite reasonable and currently Arsenal really need an AMF figure like Havertz to help the attack line become more optimal. Now it's just the deal with Declan Rice from West Ham and it's a phenomenal transfer that would break the club's transfer record if it goes through.

I dont think Pep was looking for an Alternative for Rodri, if it was that, then they have Phillips, and surely pep wouldn't bid over 80m at first for a prospective alternative player... Hence, i think Pep had another plan for Rice in his team, he always had a plan right??... And i don't think we can call Rice world class or not... For you to stand the World Class test, You have to play or have played for a World class team surely!!!.
Pep is a very smart person when it comes to recruiting and releasing players for the team he is coaching now, so Pep will not carelessly recruit players even if it is for alternative players. Because previously all the reserve players at Manchester City were also quite good and in fact almost all of them were good to strengthen the Manchester City team and yes, Pep always has a better plan to make Manchester City strong next season one way or another.

Manchester united just needs a new owner.. and the Glaziers have purposely been stalling the Arabian buyers who seem more interested!! And this is looking like another season where they are going to spend less, but one or two players to keep there fans from lamenting and expect to be on top at the end of the season.. Its just Man U acting like Man u to me!!!

We shall wait it even longer since glazer has not made it clear about what was the final decision that has taken by them. This family is still thinking so hard about that but most of united fans are supporting jassim to acquire manchester united as soon as possible.
It's caused by jassim already made a very big project for united. The competition is still going on between jassim and sir jim. I can only hope jassim gonna win this fight as manchester united actually needs oil money to compete with manchester city which was also having the same resource of money. It will make the competition between city and united become very competitive again unlike this time which is having very big gap.

I hope the process for MU to get a new owner will be done asap. It's caused by the transfer season is still open but it will not be so long.

I really like Havertz and think he'll be great in this Arsenal team.
Transfer after transfer Chelsea keeps making even less sense, their midfield and striker options are horrible.

People might think 'OK, they will buy a few players' - sure, they might. But they cannot bring quality players without CL football so I don't expect them to fill these spots (Havertz, Kovačić) with better players.

Havertz is an amazing player and showed good games in Chelsea when they won the champions league. Last season his form dropped but i still dont think he is worth 70mil. Maybe between 30-40 mil but this is a huge amount and Arsenal is just throwing money around and this is wierd for this club because they didnt due this in the last couple of seasons.
To be precise, Chelsea performance has declined, Havertz cannot improve Chelsea own performance without the support of other players. Even though the club he defended failed to finish in the best place last season, Havertz selling value has not decreased, he is still the superstar he has been waiting for at his new club. Arteta will not sign players if he does not see something of value in these players, Arteta is very confident in Havertz ability to improve the quality of Arsenal game.
Arteta is very confident that he can unleash Havertz potential, his failure with Chelsea last season was not his fault, no one can blame his efforts for Chelsea failure. Havertz is very lucky to get a positive response from Arteta, it will be easier for him to develop his talent with a coach who can put him in the right position.

Chelsea needs to do regeneration for its players. That's what already planned by pochettino for next season. The club needs to rebuild its chemistry again. It's caused by there will be so many new players to come soon.
I can only expect if the performance from chelsea will not be so good during the pre match. Adaptation is actually needed by all of players to build chemistry.
There will be new striker too. Some old players were leaving from the club. It's the time for young players to shine again. Chelsea needs to do that to make sure if it has long term project.

Chelsea bought a lot of players last season and with the way things have been going this summer, it seems they want a new era of young players and I can understand why they’re allowing their old players with 1-2 years contract to leave. They have a plan and they waiting for the outgoings before they can reinforce the team. For you it might not look like they’re serious but they have their targets, once they can finish with the players leaving, I think they’ll begin to buy their targets.
The players that Chelsea brought in last season were just a waste of money, because the new players who arrived did not give a new color to the game from Chelsea. Building a foundation from the start has to be done, if they want a solid foundation, because I can see that now they have no vision of how they want to play and we will see the results from how they felt in the past season. The arrival of a new coach must be followed by a squad overhaul because the coach must have his own criteria about the players he really needs. I think we will see some big changes that Chelsea will make to navigate the 2023/2024 season.

What's the point of spending a lot of money to end in the other half of the table?
They spent +€600m on new players last season and they ended up with huge deficit.
This season they got Nkunku from Leipzig for the moment while letting Havertz, Kovacic going to their main opponents and Koulibaly, Mendy and Kante to Saudi Arabia teams. There's others who are rumoured to leave the club in this transfer window. Replacing these players while keeping good substitutes in case of injuries or red cards will not be that easy at all..

Coach Pochettino is trying to put things in order for the club, by selling out players he doesn't need, just to give chance for the younger stars they brought last season. The club management was the reason they had  backward season, and if the right things is not being done, they might struggle this season again. Regardless how experienced Pochettino is, he needs time to set this club to winning way, it will take time , but pochettino will succeed at chelsea.

As we know, Havertz did not perform very well with Chelsea in the 2022/2023 season. also, he did not appear impressive when competing in the Qatar world cup with Germany. in fact we wonder why Arsenal would want Havertz even at such a hefty price tag. What's unique is that previously Carlo Ancelotti also wanted to bring him to the Santiago Bernabeu. at least, there are two coaches who are interested in the services of this player from Germany.

Well, referring to these two coaches, it seems that Havertz has added value from their point of view. also remember, that Havertz is a player who has talent who can play in various positions. maybe that's why, Arteta wants to use his services. maybe Arteta will put him to play on the wing, or attacking midfielder. point is, I'm sure Arteta won't play Havertz as a replacement for Gabriel Jesus. I mean, Havertz wouldn't be the main starter if he was a centre-forward. most likely, he will play another position. or, it can also be rotated according to the needs of the team.

Speaking of which, it looks like Declan Rise will be joining the Gunners. as quoted by Romano, the final discussion and then... the deal is done. So, it seems that Arteta is planning his project more seriously than in previous seasons. and, we can only hope that what Arteta is doing with his staff and team gives us what we want as Gunners fans.

Arsenal are the big losers here in terms of amount paid, Chelsea paid 80m and Havertz have already played for 3 seasons at the club, Chelsea weren't desperate to keep Havertz and were looking to offload significant amount players, and I don't think Kai Havertz was an exception, but Arsenal appearing desperate is surely why Chelsea had needed to play hard to get, because Mason Mount to Man United deal is supposedly going back and forth for within the range of 50-55m, I don't understand why Havertz should be significantly costlier than even an English player (that are supposedly costlier due the hype/tax and whatnot) for Arsenal. I understand the age factor, but Man City had just signed Mateo Kovacic for just 25m from the same Chelsea, while Declan Rice with one year contract left on his contract (with an option of one year more) will cost them 100m or nothing.  Shocked
I'm even more surprised not by Arsenal, who are willing to pay big money, they think that this will help them win the Premier League in the new season, I'm more surprised at how easily Chelsea let so many players go. Will Poccettino rely only on those who remain in the team, or will they also buy new players? I think Boehly is happy that the money is returned to the team and the payroll will decrease significantly, but for a good result, the remaining players may not be enough.

It would be better to be at Arsenal than Chelsea, Kai Havertz has chosen the best team this season (despite not getting the EPL trophy) because Arsenal have been quite great in the previous season and Kai can show his best performance in the team now.

I assume it is Chelsea's failure they are back chattering so many players in this transfer season.

People might think 'OK, they will buy a few players' - sure, they might. But they cannot bring quality players without CL football so I don't expect them to fill these spots (Havertz, Kovačić) with better players.
Usually quality players will look at the Champions League competition. It will be a little difficult if Chelsea want high quality players, but I believe they will get it if the offer is bigger, but basically European players always want to appear in the champions league, for that Chelsea is now not do any competition in Europe.

For a team that nearly clinched the PR title, I'm not surprised by their high level of activeness in this transfer market. I heard that Arteta is one of the driving forces of their current negotiations and signings. I believe he knows what he wants and will do what he needs to get the results he needs next season. I wouldn't say Havertz is top class player even though he was the deciding factor in Chelsea's victory against Man city in the champions league final in 2021. Congratulations and good luck to Arsenal.

It's worth noting that Arteta is strengthening only midfield and attack sections of his squad. Looks like a plan to me.

Havertz can become a very good player for Arsenal like Leandro Trossard who immediately became an important member of Arsenal team. I noticed that the Arsenal coach is targeting players who are versatile and can play in several roles depending on where the coach fixes them to play. Havertz is that kind of player, so also is Declan Rice who has also joined Arsenal. Arsenal will play in many competitions next season, so it is important for the coach to begin to prepare a flexible and adjustable team that will maintain a consistent performance in all competitions.

Pep Guardiola has always treated Manchester City like his own family. He was elated by Manchester City's win and upset by Manchester City's defeat. He has always planned something unique for the betterment of the team. He had additional plans for the team players. He gave more importance to the side bench players than the regular team players. Because if any of the regular players are injured or have injury problems, the side bench players can provide a good backup, this was the main objective of Pep Guardiola. Manchester City have had the most success this season due to adopting some unique techniques.Pep Guardiola may want to strengthen his side's bench.

Honestly £65m is too expensive for Havertz, I think we should start to question how Arsenal had been throwing money into the transfer market recklessly, £170m so far spent on two players this season with more players are expected to be signed, though Arteta wanted to avoid or repeat the same mistake of losing the title towards the end of last season due to lack of quality and depth in the team thus necessitated the need to buy quality players to beef up their squad especially their midfield which wasn't formidable enough last season, with Havertz - Rice - Ødegaard in the midfield next season the team should be able to match and compete with Man City and other top clubs.

I read some news about Manchester United willing to sell 13 players in order to fund the purchases of new ones.
Harry Maguire, Jadon Sancho, Fred and Anthony Martial to name a few. Erik Ten Hag wants to buy Inter goalkeeper Andre Onana. I guess that Davis De Gea would also leave United. Moises Caicedo from Brighton might sign with United soon. Adrien Rabiot from Juventus is currently negotiating. It's pretty cleat at this point that Harry Kane and Mason Mount won't sign with United.
I guess that Man United with start the next season with a brand new team.
The Glazer's indecision over Manchester United takeover is slowing down the club's transfer activity. I don't know if the club really wants to get rid of these players you mentioned. But I know for sure that Harry Maguire is not part of ETH's plans because the club is even ready to offer him £10M if he could find himself another club this summer. I don't know if United does not want David DeGea anymore by offering him a new contract with reduced salary hoping that he would reject it so that they can go after Onana... But it didn't go that way as DeGea has signed the papers before leaving on holidays.
That's the trouble with United right now and fans are getting seriously mad. If Glazer family sold the club already, that would have resulted with the new owner starting to put some money into the club and not like they were terrible last season, they were already better and they would have been even better this year too.

Maguire or not, we are talking about not being able to get someone big, because if a new owner comes in I bet that they are going to be willing to spend 100+ million at least, probably even more and that type of money could buy insane quality talent as well if they are smart about it. Of course they could also be like Chelsea and get players for a lot more than what they worth and players for same positions and suddenly be bad.
