you have a point. Big teams that do have good financial conditions will definitely try to reach their goals, even if they have to spend a lot of money for it. Of course, they already think that what they spend (sacrifice) will be worth it and they know if the result is not what they expected, I guess they were ready for it.
Football cannot be far from business, signing star players will also increase merchandising/apparel sales revenue, so there will always be profit and loss.
The problem here is not the fact that they "can" spend a lot to get Lewa and then be a better team, the problem here is that they would be getting a player who is 34 years old and would be older next year and how many years would he play? This is the case for many players these days, players become great after 30 or near 30 and then teams start to pay a ton of money for players who are 30+ years old. Look at Juventus, they got Ronaldo and didn't win much with him, it was a bad era with Ronaldo there, of course they made the money back easily because Ronaldo jersey sales alone worths more than what Ronaldo costs to the team, but still that wasn't a great transfer for them. All in all Lewa will be ever worse than that, get him for a lot of money, he will play well for a while, but he will get older and older and you would not be able to profit from him.

It seems like there are many big clubs which are planning to sign Manchester United's 28-year-old midfielder Paul Pogba. He has only one year left on his contract. So, there are some clubs after him like Barcelona, Juventus, Real Madrid and PSG. Lately, Real Madrid seem like the most serious team about this transfer but things can change later. Pogba's decision will be really crucial. If he decides to stay, there will be no club left which are interested in signing him. Otherwise, Manchester United will have nothing to do to stop him about leaving.
. I think he's going to complete his stay in Manchester United, Paul pogha is a talented player many clubs eyes are on him

Raiola released an interview on Italian National television and we got a spoiler.
The interview will be released in the end of the week but the spoiler is "POGBA CAN COME BACK TO JUVENTUS".
It will be public in few days.
This season is likely Pogba's last season with Man United, because until now there has been no agreement on Pogba's contract to be extended. Especially after Mino Raiola as Pogba's agent said that there was a high possibility that Pogba would return to Juventus. It's like leaking about Pogba's future, but things can still change, we have to wait for official news regarding Pogba's future. Because not only Juventus are reportedly interested in Paul Pogba, there is Real Madrid, one of the big teams who are often linked with Pogba. Interestingly Raiola also said he would meet with Man United to discuss Pogba's contract. so it is not impossible that Pogba will extend his contract at Man United if an agreement is reached. Let's just wait for the next news that will appear, but I don't think Man United should let Pogba go, because I see Pogba's contribution is quite large for Man United.

Every football team definitely wants to be the best and hopes to win many trophies, for that they must have plans and strategies, including signing new players. They buy players because they need them and it's part of their plan. It doesn't matter if he's old, young, expensive, or cheap, as long as the player fits the criteria they are looking for and they have the funds to do so, then they will try to sign him. However, buying a player is also speculation because there is no guarantee that the player can make a change for the better, even for world-class players. So I think every football club must have thought about the consequences.

Transfer rumours: Manchester United have made West Ham's Declan Rice their top transfer priority next summer. The 22-year-old England midfielder is keen on a move to Old Trafford and was frustrated that the Hammers' £100m valuation priced him out of a move during the last transfer window. Is he an overrated player after all? Barcelona will attempt to sign England forward Raheem Sterling, 26, on loan from Manchester City in January after failing with a bid to bring him to the Nou Camp during the summer. Given the great financial crisis of Barcelona, is this realistic? Paul Pogba's agent Mino Raiola says the 28-year-old France midfielder could re-join Juventus when his Manchester United contract expires at the end of the season. When will this perennial saga of Pogba finally end. This is already becoming a bad joke that is repeated every year Inter Miami striker Gonzalo Higuain says the MLS club have ambitions to sign Argentina team-mate Lionel Messi when the 33-year-old forward's Paris St-Germain contract runs out in 2023. The question is whether Messi really has the desire to end his career in the American league? Source: https://www.bbc.com/sport/58600364

According to Independent, Manchester United have made 22-year-old West Ham defensive midfielder Declan Rice their top priority for the next summer. They were interested in signing him in the last transfer window actually. But West Ham had a £100m price tag for him which was really huge. And it even caused the player to get angry at his team for making things harder for his transfer there. Let's see if this transfer will happen this time. https://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/manchester-united-west-ham-declan-rice-b1921119.html

This amount is more than what City paid for Grealish (117.5 million). In other words, it would be the most expensive transfer in the Premier League. However, West Ham couldn't come to an agreement to renew the player's contract, so in fact they will have to sell and the price should go down I think.

It is said that Chelsea striker Timo Werner is going to be one of Dortmund's targets for the centre-forward position in case Erling Haaland leaves the club next summer. Timo Werner still hasn't adapted to the EPL and the team also. He still hasn't gained his self-confidence to be able to score many goals also. He was too much better in the Bundesliga at Leipzig before. So, he may get his old performance back if he comes back to the Bundesliga I think.
This is funny news Timo is very important to Tuchel, he might not have been scoring the amount of goals as expected but his presence and runs within the box makes way to other attackers. Chelsea are building a strong side to compete and win the league, they were interested in Halaand except Dortmund want him as part of the deal. But I think that he should start playing like always as soon as possible. He is not a forward to just make runs and open spaces for his teammates. As you know, he had a great time at Leipzig before coming here. His scoring many goals was the biggest reason that Chelsea signed him. He scored 34 goals in total in the 19/20 season.

Arsenal are yet to offer Alexandre Lacazette a new contract at the club. The 30-year-old striker is well into the final year of his current deal at the Emirates Stadium, but it appears that the Gunners are not planning on making him a new offer to keep him beyond the end of the season. AC Milan and Juventus are reportedly interested in signing Lacazette in the January transfer window. Source https://www.football.london/arsenal-fc/transfer-news/arsenal-news-transfers-live-lacazette-21606119From this looks like Lacazette isn't getting an extension of his contract, so much pressure coming from his team.

Lacazette is on big wages and has not been that good for Arsenal. Lacazette probably wants a long contract and I do not think Arsenal want to risk it. He is 30 and is not performing to the standard that Arsenal need and that is going to decline as he ages. I think they need leave him go on a free and sign someone new who can give something different. I think Lacazette had his best days in the french league and has not been the same player since he moved to the Premier League.

Do you think Messi is a good player? How about griezmann? Arda Turan? Umtiti? Coutinho and Dembele? I mean we are talking about Barcelona getting ripped to pieces because they paid soooo much for players they did not need and the ones they needed were so expensive that they have nearly none of these players now or they are underperforming. So, I would say that yes it does matter who you get, and how much you pay for him. If you are getting Lewa for free then of course you will get him, but if they ask 50+ million then you should not expect it at all, it just doesn't make any sense at all. This is why I believe that we should definitely not end up with a very expensive and old transfer, it just won't work well in the long run.

Robert Lewandowski is still expected to leave Bayern Munich in the next summer. And Real Madrid have been the most serious team that want to sign him. However, it looks like Liverpool are also in this race from now on. As they don't have a great centre-forward, they would make a great use of him in the Premier League. I strongly believe that Lewandowski can still play great in the other big leagues in Europe.
At the moment there seems to be no sign that Lewandowski will extend his contract at Bayern Munich and of course this is an advantage for other clubs who want to get Lewandowski in the 2022 summer transfer window, with Lewandowski remaining contract expiring on 30 June 2023, of course other clubs will be able to get Lewandowski at a cheaper transfer fee than his current market price, it looks like Liverpool is a strong candidate to be able to recruit Lewandowski later because the Liverpool coach worked with Lewandowski from 2010 to 2014 when he was still at Dortmund. It has become a little more common that players let their contracts indeed expire because they can cash in insanely high hand money. It is very possible that Lewandowksi does the same . Pini Zahavi is know well for getting the maximum for his players. Then again Lewandwoski already earns 20 million at Bayern. The question is which club would pay him even more at this age? He is going to be almost 34 next year. Look at the small transfer fee Manchester paid for Ronaldo. I don't know if Bayern would let him go unless they can get Haaland. That's where everything could change quickly. I think not any club want to pay more than 20 million to get Lewandoski how ever he has 34 years old and not gold age on football, although any club will interested with him ask about reduced salary more than 50% earn from Bayern Munich. Better keep stay for Munich maybe one or two years later before going back to their country and play there, not have club will extended him because almost above 36 years old is not potential again for club, they want to get player have planning more than three of four years later as business and give advantage for club. Then again, he is a legend already in Munich and maybe it his one of his childhood dreams to play for a club like Real Madrid. Why not if you were in his shoes? Just go for it, you have enough money anyway and fulfill another dream of your childhood. It's difficult to judge these players without having been in their situation. Many people say that Götze shouldn't have transferred to Bayern Munich after his world cup final goal in 2014. Who in the world would have said no at that age if Bayern Munich knocks on your door paying you 10 million a season at age 21/22?

As an arsenal fan of course i hope arsenal will be able to bring in another new striker in the future and releasing Lacazette is the right step for arsenal in my opinion.

According to rumors Raiola also said more about Juventus. It seems he said, "De Ligt could leave Juventus after the season".
If I'm not mistaken De Ligt will have a release clause of 150m€ since this summer.

In fact, Pogba is very important to Manchester, so it's in their interest to keep him at all costs, and he probably won't mind himself. For some reason, I don't think he wants to go. He plays well on the team and has good interaction with the other players. That's why I don't believe he'll leave yet.

I think they must sold him. Juventus Torino win 9 championships in 9 years and they were the powerful number one in Italy. Now they have huge debts and Ronaldo is gone. I think because Juventus has no money. There were also no big transfers made this year. Maybe no money and De Ligt or other nice players will go.

It looks like Barcelona are up to signing Manchester City winger Raheem Sterling on loan this January. Sterling were named for some big clubs in the last transfer window but nothing happened. Now, Barcelona are the new possible team for him to go. And I think that Sterling would contribute to them a lot as they are in a bad shape now. He would help the team score more goals.

Important to Manchester City? Since when? Mate, do you even watch football or know about what you are posting? Posting for the sake? Shame!

If Sterling went to Barcelona, I am very sure it would be another a big fail After Neymar, tell me a Barcelona player who was signed and was successful and influential in Barcelona to this date. I am waiting. Just to put it in perspective, Here are some of the signings; 1. Arturo Vidal 2. Clement Lenglet 3. Frenkie de Jong 4. Paulinho 5. Antoine Griezmann 6. Arthur Melo 7. Ousmane Dembélé 8. Philippe Coutinho 9. Martin Braithwaite 10. Malcom 11. Junior Firpo 12. Yerry Mina 13. Neto Yep, they are one of the reasons Barça is in debts right now source

MANCHESTER UNITED are planning a January clear-out with up to SEVEN stars up for grabsDonny van de Beek, Jesse Lingard, Phil Jones and Eric Bailly are among those who may be sold. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is looking to add to his transfer kitty by offloading some of his squad, who are not expected to feature much in his starting XI. United are preparing to have talks with the players in the coming months about their futures, ahead of the new window opening. It is also understood a number of his younger stars are available for loan, as the club look to get them more game-time. Meanwhile, Paul Pogba runs out of contract next summer and is in talks over extending his terms with around ten-months left. https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/english-premier-league/16178274/man-united-transfer-donny-martial-lingard-bailly/
