According to Bild, Newcastle's new owners are monitoring Jurgen Klopp and Thomas Tuchel for the rest of the season. They might be thinking a move for one of them at the end of this season. And I think that they can sign one of them as long as they offer a great deal of money. And as far as we know so far, money is not an issue for the new owners of the team.    Besides, they are after the players like Werner, Süle and Coutinho. It depends on which type of debt is it.
For example, even spurs are over 1 billion in debts but the most part is a long-term loan for the stadium.

I don't know the debt of Barca but some money is for sure for the stadium in long term.

Didn't read this information in any news and I doubt Saudis will go for another club. When their first attempt to get Newcastle last season failed, they didn't search for alternatives AFAIK. Now their first focus will be to build the team from scratch, signing new, top coach and players. Spending and diverting money in more than 1 club isn't a good strategy imo.

What surprises you in this news? The club wants to guarantee itself that the young player will not leave when he adds a little more skill and experience, so it offers him such a contract. It is a requirement by the law. All players in Spain need to have release clauses inserted into their contracts due to some kind of work legislative.

A lot of players have extremely high clauses - the clubs know they cannot be triggered and are protecting themselves like that.

Barcelona is extremely careful after Neymar's case, whose clause was put to 200 million - also so that no one can trigger it (it was unimaginable when he signed the contract) - but PSG did a few years later.

It seems you are right in your guess because the debt with banks (the higher one) may be related to expenses with their stadium, what is really surprising as it reaches to an amount superior to all another debts' added.

Moreover, currently president of Barcelona blames the previous administration for the financial issue the club is facing right now, while being criticized by the fan base for not doing enough effort to keep Messi on the team.

However it is obvious that adding Haaland to City would make them one of the best teams in the world, and looking at the list of players they are willing to off-load to get him, it would not change them for any worse, it would make them much better.

Thanks, that explains it. I thought it seemed bizarre thinking that someone would actually trigger it, and it must just be a PR stunt. I hadn't realised it was a legal requirement. This makes perfect sense now. Although it does seem almost like they're exploiting a legal loophole a bit... if a fee is going to be set at such a level that it will never be triggered, then it can't practically be considered a fee at all. Although as you say, who knows, no-one ever thought Neymar's would get triggered.

Interestingly enough, according to the picture I gave above, there are 7 Real Madrid players in the top 10 in terms of the value of release clauses. I meant in the last season there was rumours circulating in social media about alternatives to Newcastle after the failure of the first purchase attempt. The release clause is one way for a team to be able to fence off their players from being targeted by other clubs, but I think Pedri release clause is really quite crazy, indeed Pedri is one of the talented young players but is it very reasonable for Barcelona with set Pedri release clause as high as it's?, even on par with Benzema who has proven to be a pretty good striker, and very crazy is that even the release clause is very high compared to the clauses that their former star Messi had for 700 million euros, and also Griezmann 800 million euros.
