If Barcelona are unable to pay salaries of their current players how are they going to meet up with the salaries of the new players. In my opinion, the real reason is not just the fans refusing his arrival, but Atletico Madrid will think twice before signing him.  Rumors of Ronaldo joining ATM were due to Mendes who offered Ronaldo to the president of Atletico Madrid and to many other clubs.
