IMHO, pretty exciting development, as Laimer is a highly-rated Bundesliga player with some potential to boost Bayern's already strong midfield. I'm not sure if he would make it into starting line-up, but for the squad a free Laimer transfer would of course be a decent addition. What do you guys think?

We've seen a sparking turn around in his game after a very hard time last season bouncing back to good ways and when it felt like he was the black sheep to the fans, but all of that changed already this season with Erik Ten Hag commanding the highest form of standards from the player's if they must maintain the first team.
These Marcus Rashford transfer saga surfaced before and I think it was well responded by the Coach that Marcus Rashford is part if his long term plans with Manchester United, it's just a strategy for Manchester United to look back into the player's contract and offer him the contract extension just to clear of the crowd.
I do not panic a little bit because I know well he won't be leaving Manchester United for Parisan League 1Giants.

I think a big reason why he is trying to get Marcus Rashford is that he played admirably for England in the World Cup. And he has also recently performed well for Manchester United. I expect him to sign a contract extension with Manchester United, more so now that Ronaldo is out of the club, more responsibilty will fall on his shoulder and he should do well to be their star man. There is no way he can leave all of that for an uncertain future in Paris, PSG have Messi, Neymar and Mbappe, Rashford will only be a makeshift player, and i am pretty sure he doesn't want that anymore.

I think as a player switching to PSG would be a significant improvement, especially if he is playing for Manchester United. But the problem is as a striker he might not get adequate playing time at PSG. And Rashford has recently started playing better for Manchester United. He also performed well for England in the World Cup. So I believe Manchester United is preparing to renew the contract with him.
