James Maddison is joining Tottenham by July 1. The transfer fee paid for him has been recorded as 47 million euros. This is a really wonderful deal for Tottenham truthfully. Because Maddison's value is 60 million normally. But Leicester's relegating from the Premier League must have made things easier for Tottenham. In the end Maddison wouldn't like to play in the Championship while he is this much talented midfielder.    I expect to see him shining really bright at Tottenham.

He is still 26 years old now and he has long years ahead of him to be more successful. I just doubt if Tottenham is the best place for that.    But maybe this transfer can pave the way for him to sign for more successful teams in the future.

We know James Maddison is a good player and he had a good performance when he was playing at Leicester City this season also he is still 26y old and a very young player who got a long way ahead to shine in the future.
However, I know Tottenham as an unstable team because of the thing that happened in the previous season to their coach Conte also Harry Kane is leaving this team.

Will De Gea receive a salary with an offer from Manchester United? Will it be the right decision for him?
Suppose if there is an agreement with a salary cut while Manchester United still buys Andre Onana from Inter then De Gea will be shifted to become the main goalkeeper, but this is my scenario maybe if De Gea extends the contract then Onana's purchase will be cancelled.

A player certainly wants to have a salary that is quite commensurate, at first I think it's 375K per week for De Gea but with more cuts I don't know how much he will get so De Gea has to rethink his future career.

From what I have seen today that Ten Hag wants Onana and whether he likes it or not for De Gea he can stay on the condition that he is still main guard and Onana is backup. That doesn't matter as long as De Gea wants to stay. Even if not, Erik Ten Hag will still insist on getting Onana in this season's transfer market.

Then regarding De Gea salary, it is indeed quite difficult that Erik Ten Hag's principle cannot be changed that there is no high player salary as long as he holds Man United.

Maddison has actually been rumored to have left for a long time, Leicester, who originally wanted to keep Maddison, finally relented and these rumors have only really become a reality at this time after Leicester failed to survive in the top division of the Premier League. I heard a lot of talk saying that Spurs are a worthy team for his future, I don't think Spurs are too bad because they are above Leicester and in comparison they are much better than Leicester who have been relegated. I think if he had other options, obviously he would choose the best EPL team that has clear goals and has the chance to win some trophies. For me I couldn't be happier that Manchester United missed such a great signing although I do think that he is worth more than the 40mil signing fee. He is the missing piece for Spurs in midfield that they have been yearning for. If he can stay fit and they keep kane and maybe get a top defender they will definitely make top 4. I think he may be the good mojo that Spurs need to win a trophy since  2008 was the last time they lifted the trophy. By the way is Manchester United being silent on all the big signings. Arsenal has been at the fore front of fortifying their squad and it seems Manchester United are playing the role of an onlooker.

Mount is a decent player but I really don't see how he fits in their team. They need central midfielders, they have way too many players that play attacking midfield or on the flanks.

I'm glad that Liverpool dodged the bullet here - because the same thing applies to us as well. Mount is good, but where would he play?

I really like that we're closing in on a deal for Szoboszlai though. That guy can be a top class player, and 60 mil euros sounds like a fair price.

Three players in the midfield position are more than enough for a team because the other two can act as substitutes for the main players and can also be substitutes when one of them is injured. Apart from central midfield, Manchester United must also look at players in other positions such as defenders and wings for now, so that Manchester United can return to being strong when they are in competition next season, because next season Manchester United will also compete in the UCL.

IIRC both clubs agreed on about  80m Euro   for Caicedo. Chelsea has to make a defensive midfield signing as there is all their earlier DM's have left whether it be Kante or Jorginho. The most influential factor why Harry Kane cannot leave England or Tottenham is because of his family.
