Arsenal spent a lot of money and the stuff will be very angry on the management if they fail to bring a trophy to the club and to secure a Champions League spot for the year after. I would say not winning EPL at least will make them disappointed. If Arteta lose several games and get down badly in the ranking he risk being kicked from the team. His missing is very hard with all efforts done to make the gunners great again

To all those who had doubts about Rice to Arsenal deal after Arsenal delaying the announcement, here is confirmation from Fabrizio Romano on twitter reporting to announcement to happen today. It was a done deal since a week and maybe they did a bit of delay due to some formalities but there was no backing away or other clubs chiming in to hijack the deal. A star signing 🌟 for Arsenal.

I believe we all know the deal was going to be completed regardless, it was just a matter of time and how much Arsenal were going to be skimmed off eventually, but man £105 million for Declan Rice? After what they've paid for Havertz, they're being highly ridiculous with these fees in my very honest opinion, because they are multiple perhaps not better but reasonable other options than players with a maximum of 1 or 2 years at most left on their contract, because it is what it is, and they had better win the league next season, and make at least the champions league semi finals, any thing short of that would be an awful season to me.

especially last season Ziyech was not an option in the squad. it kept him from progressing. the transfer problem was hampered by a problem with medical tests. if he does go to Saudi, but at his age when he can't keep his body in shape. that happens maybe he will also be on the bench more often. Is that going to be a good deal? I know that Bernardo Silva is a very good player. But will he be able to adapt in Barcelona? Personally, I have no idea. But of course, a sign of great players is that they can adapt to almost any situation and also with almost any team. So I hope that is not going to be a problem if this deal ends up happening.

I don’t think Manchester City is going to mind having Frankie de Jong on the team. But they are certainly not going to give up Bernardo Silva without getting any kind of money for him. Manchester City is currently building a team that has good chemistry between the players. I don’t think they are going to jeopardize that.

I feel the reason why don't get overboard with trying to stop players from leaving is that somehow they feel that even if the players leave, they will find a good alternative in the market. I don't understand why Manchester City didn't retain their champion roster. I think they are making mistakes. It would be a great loss for the team if they send Silva. City is a big club, yes I accept that and they have the financial means to get the player they want, but they already have a champion squad and why are they risking it? I hope they don't make mistakes. A club like City may regret letting their big players go.

From these transfer rumors, I understand that City management did not do enough to retain the players. They offered Gundogan 1 year. Reading this post my first thought was that this would be a very bad deal for FC Barcelona if they would do a 1:1 trade with Frenkie De Jong and Bernardo Silva because i thought that Silva is way older than De Jong, but i just checked that now and De Jong is also 26 years old already and only 2 years younger than Silva. So if it makes sense for both clubs and also for the players of course then a 1:1 swap of those two could definitely make sense for everyone.
I don't understand though why a player like Silva that is a very important player would want to leave ManCity, which is the strongest club in the moment, for a club like Barca which is a top 10 club at the moment and not more. Maybe personal reasons because in terms of the sportive value it would definitely be a downgrade for him.

I am hearing that it is going to be a £100 million transfer with a chance of £5 million add ons. But it is certain that he is definitely going to Arsenal. And definitely a good signing. This was certainly a very expensive transfer. Arsenal will have to make sure that they can get the most out of him. Arsenal cannot end the next season without any achievements. They will have to perform better, especially towards the end of the season. I also agree that Mikel Arteta has more money in his hands now. Messi to Inter Miami is one done deal too and we hope to see how he gets to improve the Beckham's squad preceding next season. Some other great players like Luis Suarez is being sourced too to join the club and give it the boost it needs to succeed.
 Just as Christiano Ronaldo is a player-coach, we would see a time when all these new clubs joined by retiring professional footballers will win grand trophies. Messi is expected to be a player-coach too overtime, with the wealth of experience he has gathered and his ability to influence a teams performance.

Bringing new players and spending more money is not going to ensure anything for Arsenal as long as they do not perform consistently. But I do think that they will need to improve the depth of the squad. Otherwise, if a player is injured, they will have a hard time replacing him. The Declan Rice transfer is obviously great for Arsenal. He’s going to be a very important player for the team.

I actually thought Lionel Messi will go to the Saudi league and probably we will see Cristiano Ronaldo playing against Lionel Messi again. I can definitely say that the Saudi league is improving a lot. If someone asked me six months ago about MLS or the Saudi league I would have said that MLS is better. But now I have to say the Saudi league is improving rapidly and also probably better compared to the MLS. Anyway, Lionel Messi is definitely going to MLS.
