I'll give this yet another shot.. Username: pugman Post Count: 841 BTC Address (must be SegWit): 3B5FXQNSdxizq3P6naJ4XM2BhXu8cx5rZy

Do you even know what a segwit address/segwit is?
For obvious reasons, posts in Ivory Tower and Serious discussion don't count as well.
Ivory tower and Serious Discussion boards are boards where the spam content is almost zero, but not counting posts in such discussions may curb down real, good discussions. Is it a good idea? It has been introduced quite recently only,so... I guess those reasons weren't obvious enough Accepted, shoot me a PM once you change your signature please. Freshly generated seg-wit, I will change signature if accepted.
Accepted, shoot me a PM once you change your signature please.
Added to my blacklist: Visbay Tungsten-1 DigDeepMining Marma Kalari Bagaji A few people blacklisted also applied - I didn't leave negative trust this time, but I may in the future.

I will test CoinMixer.se vs ChipMixer.com in the next days and let you know which fits my needs more after BitMixer.io is gone.
I will also do research if it is possible to leave such mixing services behind because we have to trust them if we using there services and this is not the vision of Satoshi and Decentralisation to trust a single instance.

this is not the vision of Satoshi and Decentralisation to trust a single instance.
It may sound a bit harsh, but Satoshi's vision doesn't really matter in this case. It's not that you are being forced to use a mixer -- it's purely an optional service. On top of that, by that logic it means that there is basically no room for centralized services. If there were no centralized services being part of this ecosystem, Bitcoin would never be able to grow out to what it is today. The more usability potential Bitcoin has, the more valuable it will become.

If there were no centralized services being part of this ecosystem, Bitcoin would never be able to grow out to what it is today. The more usability potential Bitcoin has, the more valuable it will become. this was right in the beginning of Bitcoin. prove of decentralised services is still outstanding but the time is right for this and the coming phase of regulations all over the world will speed up this development of decentralized services. do you nkow where the people of ChipMixer are located? I mean they giving away private keys which the are know and have logs of that in their system. what if they got sized? what will happen with all the unspent private keys then? EDIT: is their server are really located in Germany? --> http://chipmixer.com.hypestat.comholy shit!! are they Germans? then a lot of fun with the BaFin in Germany! EDIT2: ChipMixer hoster: https://www.vultr.com/contact/nah, looks like Americans for me. the promoter here is Canadian which makes a perfect match. but the server is located in Germany. interesting question is how it does affect the German BaFin.

Where is this option? On start up of the wallet? I see no option other than to choose bitcoin cash or not.
If you're still looking for it, click "Settings" then "Blockchains". It should give the "Bitcoin/Bitcoin Cash" option and then the "Legacy" and "SegWit" options. Nope, not there. Somebody messaged me and said I'll probably have to reset the ledger so it shows on start up.

Just for future reference, how trusted is this "very trusted"?
Regarding this quote from the original post: "Note: If the campaign is full, but you are a very trusted member of the community, feel free to apply."

Sounds pretty obscure to me.I don't understand the co-relation between writing great posts and being very trusted. There could be a case where a member is "very trusted" but writes trash, would he qualify as one of them ? Giving it another point of view,OP probably wants their signature to be carried by respected/trusted members for branding purposes which is understandable.

You must be trusted and have good post quality for me to open a spot. Originally I put Note: If the campaign is full, but you are a very trusted member of the community or have exceptional post quality, feel free to apply. However, way too many people felt like they had exceptional post quality, when they don't come close so I ended up removing it. So far, the only two I've accepted under that were SFR10 and Lauda. Just for future reference, how trusted is this "very trusted"?

Unfortunately I don't have a definite answer for you. I don't have a fixed number of trust points someone has to have to join under this condition, and it also depends on whether you're known in the community.

I just tested this... it shows up just fine... what version of the "Ledger Wallet Bitcoin" Chrome App do you have? I have "Version: 1.10.1" that was apparently released on Feb 6th. It'll show you what your current blockchain is here: You then want to click "Settings": Then select "Blockchains": It should take you back to the original selection screen for Bitcoin/Bitcoin Cash: And then you can choose from Legacy/SegWit:

This week's payments have been sent. You can view the transaction here.
Because it's fun playing with data, I decided to see the stats of Merit for users in the campaign. Some interesting facts: - Average participant has earned 28.7 merit - Median of 23 merit - The total amount of earned merit is 1666 merit (at the time of this post - merit counts for most users should automatically update) LoyceV's vanity kinda applies here- Members in the campaign have received 2.7% of all merit given on the forum (1666/61278) - 44 members have reached 10 or more merit earned - Range: 0 to 138 Just thought it was interesting, not doing anything else with it yet.

That is an absurdly high percentage of merit for how few participants there are in reference to how many people are squirming for merit. I'm actually baffled by these numbers and think it's really cool to just start keeping track of a few merit stats, even if you're not doing anything with them yet. The range is pretty absurd too, not that I would expect any different, but it gives us a very fair average. Would be interesting to see these numbers compared across the board with other campaigns. Might be a fun project if nothing else. First week payment, received, thanks for having me aboard.

I do plan on continuing to track them, as I wrote a few formulas to automatically scrape merit count, and earned merits (breaks if they have a Copper membership and for a few for reasons I don't know), so it's very little effort (updating the ~5 people that it breaks on manually). Update: All automated... until someone does a rank up. But it's getting there.

I will remove my copper membership, for convenience sake. I only had it activated to see if I could apply the usergroup anyways. I'll not add to the couple of people that you need to do manual counts for; a few seconds here and there adds up. I'm pretty surprised I'm on the "Top Merited Users of All Time" list, at the bottom of it, but nonetheless I wasn't expecting that. I'll keep doing what I'm doing, hopefully it remains helpful. There we go, should be better now. Took me awhile to find the page to remove it, if anyone else would like to turn theirs off it is here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=credit;promote

I planned on fixing stuff tomorrow when I'm less sleepy, so you don't have to take it off (might be better if you didn't so that I have more test cases). I appreciate the gesture though. Side Note: if anyone wants to see something done with the data, feel free to do it as it's all on the Week 38 sheet, or let me know and I'll do it

I said it before and I'll say it again. Every time I see the ChipMixer signature when I'm browsing the forums, I know that the post is a quality post. I'm proud to be a part of this campaign, and even more proud to wear this badge of honor.
DarkStar_, you're pretty badass campaign manager. Don't tell him, but you've edged out @hilariousandco as my now all-time favorite camp man. And this camp is by now by far my favorite one. Should I dare be brazen enough to call this the best signature campaign on the forums, and not just because I'm a part of it... There really are some amazing quality posts being produced by us!
Great job pruning, DS, keep it up big homie.

Great job, Darkstar_. I agree fully with Joe, this has been by far the best campaign that we've had in a while on the forum. Interesting stats with the merits as well. Thanks for being such a outstanding campaign manager!
