Because it's fun playing with data, I decided to see the stats of Merit for users in the campaign. Some interesting facts: - Average participant has earned 28.7 merit - The total amount of earned merit is 1666 merit (at the time of this post - merit counts for most users should automatically update) LoyceV's vanity kinda applies here- Members in the campaign have received 2.7% of all merit given on the forum (1666/61278) - 44 members have reached 10 or more merit earned - Range: 0 to 138 Just thought it was interesting, not doing anything else with it yet. Nice remarkable stats there.
Also first week payment received! Thanks a lot!
I said it before and I'll say it again. Every time I see the ChipMixer signature when I'm browsing the forums, I know that the post is a quality post. I'm proud to be a part of this campaign, and even more proud to wear this badge of honor.
DarkStar_, you're pretty badass campaign manager. Don't tell him, but you've edged out @hilariousandco as my now all-time favorite camp man. And this camp is by now by far my favorite one. Should I dare be brazen enough to call this the best signature campaign on the forums, and not just because I'm a part of it... There really are some amazing quality posts being produced by us!
Great job pruning, DS, keep it up big homie.
Couldn't agree more on this.

- Members in the campaign have received 2.7% of all merit given on the forum (1666/61278) 2.7% of all merits from only 58 campaign participants? Out of 1808548 total members!??! I always knew that chipmixer participants are above average in terms of post quality, but holy jeebus. Mind boggling stuff right here. Long live ChipMixer!

Maybe one fact to add (since median is more meaningful when there is such a big range of values): 2.7% of all merits from only 58 campaign participants? Out of 1808548 total members!??!
Awesome!

This week's payment has been sent.
Payment received, two weeks have flown by. It's been cool to work with you I didn't realize how much I've posted this past week, I must have way too much time on my hands or something. Better put myself to good use around for something. LoyceV seems to be bringing my chart to new heights, with bill gator not too far behind:
I don't bring nearly as big of a contribution to the forum as LoyceV, but I am damn impressed with our campaign's merit statistics and they are only becoming more impressive as time is going by. Very telling about the type of participants you've selected, in a good way. Gonna work to pass LoyceV, of course, but hopefully I can do so with a significant contribution of some sort.

This campaign now represents 2.85% (5% increase from last week) of all merits given on the forum. (2092/73372) I expect the percentage of total merit in this campaign to keep going up. Currently, many users with old accounts have some sMerit, which partially goes to their alt-accounts or bad posts. Long term, once they run out of sMerits, it's all up to Merit sources, and they won't give anything to bad posts. LoyceV seems to be bringing my chart to new heights, with bill gator not too far behind Glad to be on top I do like the tokens of appreciation! DarkStar_ can literally choose someone out of a large crowd of applicants each time. It's one of the best paying campaigns, and I appreciate how this reflects on getting decent post quality. Gonna work to pass LoyceV, of course Bring it on
I notice I don't care at all about someone's total merit score. All I look at, is the amount really earned. A Newbie with 40 Merit is impressive, a Legendary with 1000 has some work to do.

Been checking out this signature campaign for a while, never thought i would see merit statistics in the thread, and that is a great amount of merit circulating on the member of campaign, i made some statistics too about merit, but this is next level because you focused on your participants.
Do you use excel (or other software) to write the data directly or write it down first to a paper before you made the chart?

It's automated using Google Sheets. The link to the campaign spreadsheet is in the OP of this thread. There's a bit more information in this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2970251.msg30516300#msg30516300

May this campaign hail forever and can accept me in the future, lol. Basically what TheQuin said. The chart is automatically generated and updated based on the data I have in the spreadsheet, and that data also updates automatically using a modified version of the formulas I outlined in the thread linked. Basically, I'm scraping their current merit count, and then subtracting the merit count that they started with (automatically grabbed, and then converted to a string). Image of basically what it looks like:
