I wonder if there would be optimized miner for equihash for 1080ti? cause this is really will help to pump the hash rate - usually we can assume that one 1080ti is equivalent of two 1070s. one 1070 pushes 450 h/s in ZEC, so 1080ti should do about 900 h/s, but in reality 750-770 h/s, so we have potential for 20% imporval..
I wonder who can do that?
I would say that there is one already but its private version, there are rumors about 1200 sols on 1080ti...

I again have one 1080Ti ( Gigabyte Aorus ) on my hands and i need a suggestion.
Everything else i have are RX series and servers. I'm mining ETH+LBRY with my RX rigs and Monero with the servers.
How can i add the Ti to my existing mining operation?
I don't know what to do with it, was thinking of just selling it, mining some coins one one card is really gonna be slow. Is there maybe an option to mine ETH+ something, because i see it can only do about 900 h/s monero, which is plain bad.

On a 1080Ti you're better off just mining equihash, either a coin directly or via zpool's coin-switcher. You could also go for anything Lyra2z or Lyra2Re2, that's the most efficiency you'll get out of'em currently.

That's probably the same if i use nicehash then. What about if power consumption isn't an issue? Could i boost LBRY maybe to 550-600? I would really like to add to my existing mining, ETH,LBRY,XMR.

From my experience, Nicehash is more reliable than Zpool.

If power isnt an issue than yes you can get 550 easy with alexis miner, probably more depending on the silicon lottery

From my experience, Nicehash is more reliable than Zpool. Been a bit disappointed by zpool myself of late. Hitting half the profitability that whattomine &co calculate. And that was with rising coin prices. Nicehash is plain daylight robbery. But it works for some...

Im not using their app, I am mining straight to their pool and the return is above my expectation but maybe it has to do with the demand for VTC, Mona and ZEN. Ill report back if it changes.

ZEN Cash being in the spotlight, would it be profitable to solo mine it? I have 12 x 1080ti`s and 3 x 1050ti`s so i was willing to give it a shot. If anyone has experience with solo mining it, please share

I wouldn't call it a robbery, but you are geting a bit less because of the 4$ fee and the fact that you are dependant on hash buyers, who, of course won't pay more for hash than it actualy makes. Then again, if u are mining with lots of different gear and have many algos its ok i guess, because of the direct conversion to BTC. Selling tons of different coins on an exchange to get BTC out can be quite expensive, considering the fee's you're gonna pay for each sale. Anyway, still dont know where to point my 1080Ti. I can't test the card, its originaly packed, i would like to keep it that way if i decide to sell it. How about mining ETH+LBRY, can you boost LBRY enough to be profitable? Like doing 20 Mh/s ETH + 400 LBRY? Its that possible on a 1080Ti?

That's not how things works. If the exchange has a 0.25% trading fee, then it doesn't matter if you trade one coin or 100 coins. Since it's a set percentage instead of a flat fee, then the total amount paid in fees will be exactly the same. Easy example: Say the trading fee is 1% (it's not but it'll make for an easy example). Trading one coin worth total $100 is $1 in fees. If you instead trade 100 coins worth total $100 ($1 per coin), you'll still only have paid $1 in total fees, but $0.01 per trade.

Why would that earn you more than simply mining keccak to a pool?

People, anyone have some info on bitcoin gold premine? Since it is equihash we should be able to mine it with 1080 and network hashrate will be very low in the beginning.

By the time you get your blocks to mature everyone would already be dumping the price to oblivion

If it goes anything like Bitcoin Cash did, you're better off waiting (and maybe mining) for two weeks and be ready to dump when the pump comes. I managed to sell my Bitcoin Cash at close to $1000. It never went back to these levels since. .

ya i dont think BTC gold price will carry but who knows, free market They are premining it so the diff will start high, and ya the confirms i hear it takes on new blocks are just insane, seems all part of a plan to create value before the miners even have their coins so they can get rich. Fuck that shit lol

Fuck that shit lol yeah very controversial fork... I'm still debating whether to receive the Bitcoingold for free hoping you can get it to the exchange before the dump, or just sell BTC outright before 25th of OCT and invest it in some extremely undervalued Altcoins...
