I've not received a shipping number and have checked my spam mailboxes.

My data on the spreadsheet says shipped, and that's good enough for me (assuming my device arrives in a few days), but I wanted to give a heads-up in case my experience is unexpected.

 Fans pointing at them, yes. Additionally, room ambient is 75F.

I figured I would use Deepbit because... well... I used them 2 years ago when I used to mine so why not?  Actually... what happened to deepbit?  They were the biggest of the big!  What made them fall... should I consider a different pool for my beautiful new babies?  Also is anyone considering solomining?  Sure I may never get a coin... but I may also get 25 coins!

The main thing that happened to Deepbit, as far as I can tell, is that they didn't change and got left behind.  Other pools continued to advance and add new features and capabilities, and deepbit didn't.  For example, it's still a prop pool even though pretty much everyone agrees that prop pools are a bad idea.  And it doesn't support stratum or variable difficulty mining (which matters for higher hashrate ASICs, but not really for the AMU) and so most of the recent ASIC miners that were responsible for the dramatic increase in network hashrate are hashing elsewhere.

I got my 7, took me a bit to figure out how to get them working, but I got them working.  Getting about 333mh/s a piece.

Were you one of the international shipments?  He did say that he was going to find a 24 hour shipping place and get those done last night... maybe he stayed up real late getting those done, and that is why we have no update as of yet?  I am under the assumption mine is shipped (he said all domestic were shipped) but I have not received tracking info.

well that's certainly not right! i was cleaning my "google drive" and apparently accidently got this one. whoops.

4 hours later,  all domestics  are shipped. I actually watched the postal guy pick them up.

I got my tracking number, but since the USPS web site is not showing any information, can you share what shipping method these went out as (Priority Mail vs standard "First Class" mail, etc).  And did you ship them with a required signature, etc?  Just trying to guesstimate which day they might arrive and if I need to have someone stay home that day...

office depot wouldn't ship priority - unless i used prepaid flat rate boxes, which is counter to what i'd done the previous time. i don't get it... but yea. first class. no signatures, should arrive by the 6th or 7th for all of them.

Anyone having issues mining on ubuntu 13.04 I got mine working by removing modemmanager
sudo apt-get --purge remove modemmanager

and then specifying each of the ttyUSB devices under /dev with the -S parameter on cgminer 3.1.1

I guess marketing works on some people.  All of their "advantages" are pretty much standard on all pools except a couple that are actually disadvantages.  For example, long polling is worse than straum w.r.t. number of stales, and their PPS has a 10% fee which is the highest of any PPS pool I have ever seen.  In other words, you would get paid more at almost any other pool you chose.
