Got a tracking number just now funny enough. Naelr, you are a gem. Wish everyone was like you.

After all that back and forth I hope your being a smart ass because I wouldn't take it any other way... and I am literally laughing out loud right now.  (really woke the wife up)  I was giving you shit for whining about yours being late and so I sent Arklan 0.25 BTC to ship your package to you next day air to make you happy so you would stop whinning about yours being shipped late.  Which mine in turn very well might end up 3 or more days later to me... and your telling me you wish everyone was like me.... Wow I hope that is sarcasm, NO REALLY I WANT IT TO  BE SARCASM... if it isn't your the nicest person I have run into in a long time and if that is the case your welcome. HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHH WOW I love the bitcoin community!  WE ARE FUCKING AWESOME!

Still laughing

Changing the subject here a bit.

I had some good luck on EBay recently, and I wanted to pass on my problem to somebody else.

A couple of months ago, I bought a pair of UGGs online for my daughter.  I tried to save a few bucks and when I opened the package, I was looking at a pretty good pair of counterfeit boots.  Sometimes getting things shipped from China doesn't end well.  Anyway, I figured I would put them on ebay for what I paid for them.  $64 USD.  No takers.  I have kept lowering them 2 bucks a week, and still no takers.  I'd like to offer them to somebody here in this group buy for the smokin-good-price of FREE.  If you want to give me .1 or .15 BTC for shipping that would be cool.  They are supposed to be size 10, but more like 9.5.

Arklan, you have first option.  Anybody who hasn't got their USBs would be next in line, but I'm pretty flexible.

Any females here who wear a size 9.5?  Anybody have a woman friend who does?

mine with the replacement parts and compensate people for the unexpected delays.

as someone who participated in a different group buy, but has been watching this thread since page 50 or so, this sounds like a reasonable solution. do you compensate everyone whose miner was mailed out after the 23rd, though? if not, where's the cutoff?

there's an eyebrow-raising number of apologists in this thread. OP organized a $130,000 group buy and didn't even start printing shipping labels until the units arrived!

i mean, wouldn't ya start prepping when the orders started climbing into the hundreds?  Huh Huh Huh

i know everyone's happy to get their units, but let's not pretend this group buy has been something it hasn't  Wink

Atleast someone is seeing things clearly. I don't want compensation, I just wanted my unit shipped in a timely manner. Not shoved to the end of the queue and facing a day delay here, a day delay there, making the international shipping even longer.

True that.. and I agree and so did the OP he admitted he screwed up... he also said he is in the middle of moving his house... so yea he maybe shouldn't have done it but well over I would say 90% are happy with how this went... lets face it this buy went fast... really fast... in the grand scheme of things... now it is over and we should all (yes especially myself) call it what it was and move on ... I am done and getting off my soap box.. I have told Arklan in this thread and in personal email how much I appreciate his efforts... I will get my little bit of history and he gots some because of me... I am happy.... he is happy

Sigh. Right, obviously this is a losing battle since the majority of people have their's shipped or are hashing away. I can't voice my displeasure without someone coming out of the woodwork who probably already has their order.

Asshole? Nice.

i SAID if you're unhappy, i'll give ya some. you ordered one, yea? how's 4 days of mining at 330 mhash then? that's... i think about .04? pm me an address.

same goes for anyone upset.

as to the shoes: ...well that's... random as hell... let's just check with the girlfriend...shes' a size 7. pass.

i don't post much, but this space for rent.

wtf. How do you justify shipping some about a week (and counting) later than the others.

justify? i don't. i fucked up. i've freely admitted that.

I can definitely see why some would ship out one day, and some the next, as there was two shipments. But this extra day here, extra day there, another weekend, it's getting a little disrespectful.

Disrespectful ... the man physically rolled his ankle and went to the hospital he was in so much pain.  He dealt with the pain and had trouble with the post office, he made a mistake here and there.... over 100 damn individual orders... I think he did pretty damn good and if you can't offer him a little bit of compassion and accept the fact that he is only human and not perfect you shouldn't have been involved in such a large effort group buy being run by one individual (except for the collection of the BTC) because you might just be a little in-convinced in the time it takes to receive your product.  Next time perhaps you should run it....

Arklan, sent ya a small donation for your time and effort... not much (0.25 BTC) because I am a bit short myself now too... Next day air this asshole's product for me will ya.

I'd always planned on kicking in another .1 BTC when I got my device and see no reason to change that.  Ya, ~arklan made a mistake or two, but he manned up and admitted it which I think that is cool, and he did a vast majority of things very well.  I learned a lot watching this thing go down and it was very valuable to me to have such good visibility.

I might point out that since the time I first notice this thread, it stated pretty specifically '(us/canada)'.  Yesterday it seems the guy worked is ass off and made the best of the day.  He seemed to have made a choice to mail a large number of US ones at the expense of a few International ones.  That seems like the right choice to me for several reasons, and I believe I would feel that way even if I happened to have been negatively impacted.

bare in mind that the ones i shipped today have all been fedex, (some fedex ground...) but as such i suspect they will likely arrive well ahead of the ones i mailed yesterday.

Did we ever decide what to do with any extras left after the warranty period is over? I heard some ideas like giving them out in a lottery, etc.

Woot Tracking number *looks up tracking number* "Delivery status information is not available for your item via this web site. A return receipt after mailing may be available through your local Post Office."  FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

The Anticipation is kiling me!

As for the "extra" units.  They should be auctioned off internally and the proceeds should be split among all of us in proportion to how many we ordered out of the total.  I hate lotteries... random shit sucks.

Seems fair if someone wants to remember to organize that six months from now. I wonder what the other group buys are doing?

I haven't received my USB stick yet.

Nobody has any reason to be upset about anything IMO.

Prior to the start, during the start, during the first stage, during the second stage, during shipment, and even now: Arklan has been completely upfront, honest and transparent about this entire group buy.

What is wrong with all the people here?  I can't get 1 courteous answer on these USB sticks?  How much does one cost and where can I buy one or several?  It's my 3rd time asking and nothing but selfish people on this board.
