Quite bad, but I'm looking at many worse lol. In terms of overall returns we are still above donation phase price, many projects are so far under theirs..

EK is still here developing Elastic and making progress, so that's the main thing.

Is there still hope around here; its beginning to appear more like a dead fish in the water; what happened here? Been holding for sometime now hoping the value would go up; but unfortunately no; I am begin to assume that my coins will remain worthless. I am well aware that the market is experiencing a crash but this is too bad, bought at above $1 and the current ex. rate is $0.07, heard that; $0.07. Understanding your despair is understandable, but if you bought Elastic at $1 it's probably because you were convinced by it and not by technology! Elastic is a super project that has been developed since 2016! The developers who took over the project because the previous dev fled with the funds raised, they had no incentive and do it precisely because they created a strong community and a great willingness to deliver something and make XEL to be applied in people's lives! It's inhuman to charge you guys who work on other things and still indulge in Elastic! Like any other pre-operating product, there will be no value without the absence of it! Take this opportunity and increase your position in XEL! So, I think that you will hardly find these price levels in the coming months.

AFAIK, whoever fled (or died or whatever) was not a dev, just some sort of coordinator or manager. The dev has always been Evil Knievil with some help from time to time. The funds (again AFAIK) are untouched in a multisig address and never affected development.

We can't complain really. The devs never promised profits, just a working product and they are still trying towards that goal. I'd be lying if I said I don't care about the price, and the lack of interest within the general crypto space that this implies, but that's beside the point

I downnloaded new Xeline wallet, but it seems doesn't allow to import existing wallet. Only fresh new creation are allowed.

Anyone knows how to import old wallet by passphrase?

Why not just create a new one in xeline, back it up and transfer the coins from the old address to the new?

The devs for any crypto have near zero influence on the value of their token once it is traded by the public. "I am well aware that the market is experiencing a crash but this is too bad" As long as there are traders still in profit, there are still sellers so although the price for many cryptos are low they can still go a lot lower. If this drop is really affecting you I would stop looking at the daily prices for a few months to a few years.

Attention now is focused on the top 20 or so of the biggest capitalized stocks. That's where trading and speculation are with volume. For lesser known coins like XEL, it will be hard pressed to attract trading attention.  If you are a long term investor in XEL, you may need to wait some more until the general crypto market improves.

Would exactly be the way I would try to do it. Shouldn't be any problem to back up the new one as well since the keys are provided and just send it to the new address. But there might be an option for import AFTER you created a new wallet. Could give it a shot.

Really can't find anything of this. The new wallet/address is already created (Xeline performed this action after the installation) but NO import nor backup menu/options are detected there.
