Glad I purchased three of the supercomputer projects, after Golem going up 800% today from 3800 satoshi to 22400 satoshi although falling now. My sell order filled and I can buy some more Elastic and increase my holdings. Hopefully will be Elastics turn next but I expect all of the projects to do well in the future.

Do you know what happen to Golem price, what is the cause of such pump? Did they released any news? I expect XEL will move the same way or even will get larger gains considering lower marketcap.

I see you are still on slack.
How about migrating to discord? It's much better as a platform. Slack is quite horrible tbh.

I would prefer Discord as well, much better than Slack.

They have launched their beta on the main ethereum network. The market met this positively. The price reflected this. It remained for Elastic team to take the necessary measures for XEL boost.

I had XEL. I believed in it. Sold. It's dying.

I had $BTC at $200. I believed in it. Sold. Thought it died. Now it's at $6,800.  Roll Eyes
I feel you pain. my first buys were I looked at it at $2.25.  didn't buy until $23-$26 range. sold all after MT.Gox. had hundreds.
And such examples are probably very much. Enough even to go to our forum HDN we live in you. And once it becomes clear that many at the time where the missed opportunity and a lot of holding on to his head.

What is the difference between XEL, Golem and SONM??

Very obvious difference in everything.
The development team is also different and the number of suply is very far.
XEL is the most superior of sonm and golem.

Maybe you are still confused and not knowing about this great project. This is really an amazing project, and I have a strong feeling that you will get great success. I am of the opinion that you should immediately undertake this promising and promising project before the project ends. Because the prizes are many and many bonuses. I look forward to seeing you double the market value at an early date.

What is the difference between XEL, Golem and SONM??

In my view we will be able to find difference when all the three are fully functional. Until that the only difference is their name.

The market of blockchain-based super computers is emerging (I still think that XEL is the one who started this movement after all hehe, but please correct me if I'm wrong). Keep in mind that other projects (ie Golem, SONM, etc) target use cases easy to market (video rendering, BOINC, etc.). The XEL level is very low compared to ... it will require the author to encode the work in ElasticPL ... this is not an easy task.

So while XEL's goal is very good, it hardly has mass appeal like the other coins. So I just remind people to be realistic ... XEL is not like any other project in this area.

And I agree with the above. Rendering videos is no complicated task anymore. Anyone can do video rendering on their computer. XEL is in a different class by itself and many eyes watch it. IMHO is absolutely no use comparing XEL with hyped projects like Golem.

Don't know the full status, but there're 2 issues opened 2 weeks ago. Not many, but maybe the guys are working on more issues behind the scenes  Smiley

This is very confusing to me.
It seems altcoin waits for bitcoin to move because this month's bitcoin is unstable and it affects altcoin.
I am also waiting for XEL to move and maybe they are still accumulating. I wait for the surprise of this coin.

Is there more than (1) dev on-board now?

Hard to tell anything about this project anymore.

Donations is so humanized. Nice work guys. There are several projects claiming to build decentralized supercomputer, such as SONM, Golem and they are very close to do it. Golem is releasing beta soon and SONM will roll out production ready in August. What ELA offers in better way? Thanks

I second this question and would like to ask. Whats next now?
if you haven't already, i would recommend you guys get your hands dirty and try out uploading and mining work packages (simple sample). few of us did it and it works like a swiss clock. next step is that ek will give us more complicated sample to mine and actually earn bounties for submitted shares, for now bounties are set to 0. of course this all is happening on testnet atm. it would also be cool if some devs would join and code even more work packages in ePL so we can do more intensive testing..
so far supercomputer works as promised, there is more work with frontend but backend mechanics is working as intended.
huge respect to ek and coralreefer, amazing work with ePL, xel miner and core client.

Totally agree !
This project will be rocking soon in the future on mainnet. For now we need people to look into the code, for testing, and for just watching it working Smiley

Thanks for all those codes, EK the great, Coralreefer and others!
when will mainnet release? Do you think this coin can moon without good marketing? Team havent funds for it, right?

Plenty of Elastic supporters have already stated they would support funding a marketing team when the time is right. I really don't expect funding to be a problem in the long run, but marketing will only happen when decided it is the correct time by the team.

I am a old ico holder from XEL and I want to support this project too.
