in that case we hope that some dev or moderator of Slack will pass to help. I can confirm that Slack is active, but I can not tell you why the link does not work.

Anyway, in Slack there is no information about the progress of the project, most of the messages are people asking for news and answers that when there is any news, it will be published everywhere.

Unless you're a programmer and want to discuss something with EK, it's the only utility that Slack has right now, until EK ends his work

Thanks for your reply. I just had a few questions regarding the state of the project and usage of the web wallet.

Does XEL have a telegram channel because lately slack start in leave to communicate.
If there is a telegram line let me know because I want to know the latest updates. thank you

If you wish to have exposure to news/updates as they are released, stay tuned here, in the project slack, and on twitter.

Do you happen to know if we have filled out all the necessary info for Bittrex in order to stay listed there?  If nobody has done it yet, I'll try to help with it.

I would be grateful if there is important information for xel project.
I honestly, if xel delist in bittrex my money will be lost  Angry

Why did you buy into a crypto with money you can't afford to lose? Anyway Bittrex won't de-list XEL and keeping all of your funds on an exchange is a risk in itself, many projects go a long time without having considerable volume. Eventually over a period of weeks it is heavily traded and over time gains more interest and volume anyway. The project is still young, just have some patience, XEL hasn't even been listed a year and if you think a year is a long time you must be new here.

I have been working in crypto trade for a long time.
But everyone will be afraid when finances get worse.
I just expect a solution to that.
When XEL is deleted by bittrex at least XEL community team adds another nicer exchange
That's all I want.

Unless your the developer and have a US based securities lawyer to approve that this coin is not a security you cant help.
look at the other coins on bittrex who have been delisted and their remarks. it seems the process is something like:
- get contacted by bittrex
- sign NDA
- explain your coins function
- get US based lawyer to sign affidavit your coins not a security
- possibly still get delisted by trex

$MAID & $BTC other than that some short hodls and some long held garbage.

elastic is definitely a good hold, on a gut feeling i dont think trex will delist but in crypto anything is possibly. the whole scene atm is bad, btc down, alts down with it, fud, google banning crypto ads, the list goes on. we may be in this bear market for next months ahead unfortunately. it will take strong hands to weather this storm out, but theres no doubt the huge rises will return just nobody knows when lol

Many are mis-informed and have done little research on the subject, XEL is currently not one of the coins that will be delisted on the 30th.

Elastic doesn't meet the removal criteria, so it's unlikely it will be removed, unless Bittrex is going to use a subjective measure like "other compliance issues", or "Poor implementation of use cases or poor reception by community". Tading volume is the most important part, and I believe XEL is still above 2 BTC daily.

Nice explanations.
I don't worry about xel might be delisted from trex. It's a solid project with really big support from the strong community.
By the way nice to see xel moving up with good volume on the buyouts😊

There are still many other coins that aren't going to be delisted that have much lower trading volume than XEL. There are always coins that boom for a few weeks where the trading volume becomes one of the highest on Bittrex and then returns to "dormant" levels while traders wait for developments until the next cycle, that has happened for XEL a couple of times and it will again in the future. I don't expect Bittrex to delist XEL in the slightest, most coins that have a stable high daily volume have been around for a couple years or have huge community backing and there are many more tokens on the exchange that have a stable lower daily volume than a stable higher daily volume. Of course nothing is straight forward in crypto and there could be new regulations that change things for XEL, but for now I think it is safe.

Can anyone prove that this project is not dead? No GitHub activity in 4 months.

Sincerely, an Elastic ICO investor.

Activity -> https://github.com/OrdinaryDude/elastic-core-maven

PS: And there was no ICO. Wink

There was an ICO. I signed the Genesis block with a cryptographic signature to get my coins.

But thanks for the link! I missed that one somehow

Remember the Elastic website where you could send Bitcoins and get in reverse XEL? It said explicitly "This is no ICO. You are donating, not investing."

So, no there was no ICO, just a donation and you got XEL for every Bitcoin donation you did.

BIG difference to the usual ICOs where you as investor are able to demand stuff from the developers, while here (as this project is intended to be mostly community driven) there are no demands of investors to anyone.

So happy to see Elastic stay on Bittrex.  Most likely means somebody on the team (EK) dox'ed himself and followed the guidelines set out by Bittrex.  XEL also passed their lawyers tests as well.

Proof or it did not happen.
Can still get delisted in april.

Also quoting before your comment means EK can just stop working and nobody can ask him questions or file lawsuit since it was a donation not an ICO. Great way to say your bitcoins are mine and i owe you nothing.

We know they are working, we need to know when it will end. Until then we will have silence. It will be days, weeks or months of silence.

Bittrex is not a problem, they can be sent to the wallet. As they have done in Agora-Tauchain or Maidsafe. It would only be a problem for the traders and I do not think there are many traders in XEL, maybe 1 and some bot.

well, thank you! And thanks to NutMasterTardd2  too.
I don't think that a delisting from bittrex can be so negative, but bittrex is still a big exchange so it's good that xel will continue to be on it.
