Many investors have ...

Sorry to ruin your fairytale, but there are no investors. If you were promised otherwise, then you have been fooled!

and the developers in this direction are not moving forward.

So do you mean they are not working? Or do you rather mean that you have no idea whether they are working or not because you have not even spent one single minute genuinely becoming part of the development process and finding out what the éminence grises are doing behind the curtains? My hunch: you do not really care, your history of pushing hundreds of coins to "go on an exchange", participating in Twitter advertising campaigns and going full-hype on random coins with no innovation with phrases like - let me quote - the coin "will be recognized at the national level - clearly outlines what kind of agenda you have. Nobody here will altruistically help you to make "much profit".

Come back when genuine interest you have, my young padawan.

Cheesy Cheesy Good stuff EK, question...Is there a there a timeframe in which you have to claim your $XEL. I still have not claimed my tokens. I feel they're safer in there until I'm ready to take them out.

i think that we can talk about investors only for coins or tokens with an ico. An ico in which some devs or people ask for money, an ico where there is a program, a whitepaper with deadlines.

Or maybe not even in that case? What do you think about?

I think that we should ignore people who are just using their accounts for signature campaigns, i.e., people who are just writing random stuff to get the bounty...

is this project dead?

no twitter update, no slack working, no updates in github but just this sadly message:

I no longer have time / desire to work on the Elastic project after all the fud and negative critisim of the project

useless project ever. hope a homeless life for developers. fucking idiots

You are clearly the idiot here.

First, ek is the developer on the project and in case you can't read back just a couple posts, you'll clearly see he is still working on the project.

Second, I voluntarily (as in unpaid) provided a fully functional miner for the project simply because I found the concept interesting.  So what now is your expectation...that I spend the rest of my life working on this project for free just to make you (and others like you) money?  You should be happy that someone provided their time working on the project for free in the hopes to move it forward rather than post a bunch of crap.

And if you want to check on the progress of the project, why would you be looking for updates on the completed miner github, instead of the ongoing work that ek is doing on the compute engine in his github.  It's dicks like you that made it so I have no interest in working on the project anymore.

I know you're replying to someone else.  I am grateful for your volunteering.

If you want to move on, that is understandable.  Please bear in mind, though, you may also have an option of not working for free.  Another decentralized project provides an example: https://forum.getmonero.org/9/work-in-progress

Additional developers were gained for Monero by posting target goals and fundraising.  People donated significant Monero for some developers and their specific development goals, the equivalent of multiple bitcoins, tens to hundreds of thousands of dollars.  Anyone can have bills to pay.

If the miner is finished aside from non-critical optimization, maybe you don't have much to do, but, if nothing else, I could be willing to donate something to have a little documentation adjustment.  I don't mean working the rest of your life, just departing in style if nothing else.  Right now, the first source code link goes straight to the unhappy remark.  You worked on something great, so it could fittingly have an elegant conclusion as well.

Other than that, I don't know what would be suitable goals and target amounts, but it might be food for thought, perhaps worth a try and perhaps surprising in potential results.  I am probably far from the only person who would donate.  All needed is posting of a goal, a target amount, and a bitcoin address.  A separate subforum like Monero's system is not critical.  It could be simply a post in this thread.  I am sorry to hear of the number of obnoxious messages received by EK and you, but, in a way, that is an indirect sign of how many people pay attention to this project, even though some of them are the wrong people.  Dead coins simply don't have anyone posting at all, and this is very different.

In any case, thank you for your prior work.

i totally agree with you coralreefer.
And it really sad that someone can insult in that way the devs here without any consequences.

We don't need people like them. Really, stop follow this thread, stop posting about elastic.

We'll see if this project is useless. The idea behind is really great in my opinion

EK and CR, many here appreciate and respect what you have already done/are currently doing. The words of a few greedy idiots do not represent your community of supporters that are 100% behind you, your working style and the decisions you make for XEL. Take all the time you need to finish what you are trying to accomplish here, ignore the trolls they are not a good use of your time.

So who on the XEL team is working with Bittrex to stay listed?  Trex is going thru each coin one by one to make sure they are compliant before they roll out their USD pairs.

As far as I know there are no running bounty campaigns for the XEL network. There was only one on the beginning of the project afaik.

there is no bounty that I am aware of. Right now there is nothing we can do "to move this project further" except giving our support to EK (the Dev) who is taking his time to produce something really special.

Would like to say for some guys - don't cry about XEL price. Better buy more like me. All will be good. I think many current useless ICO's shitcoins will die. But real decentralized and honest projects with good communities such Elastic, Bitcoin, Monero, Karbo and other will survive.
