Why do you get so angry? Oh right, because the key wasn't lost and you used the funds for yourself.

My guess is the constant trolls wasting his time?

It seems that I became a long-term holder of XEL. I hope the project will develop. I think that you need a little more advertising in the project.

When will Elastic's web site be ready to be made? Need to see more details. Play the advantages of the project and create the future.

Hi guys,
a week ago or so, I red that the new website is in the making.
Now I thought that I may share my humble opinion (not requesting anything) on crypto-websites in general.
Most of them contain a lot of blah-blah and fancy pictures, saying basically nothing... eye candy without any value.
In order to stand out from all those fancy ICO presentations, I would personally love to see an extremely simple and clean website, sparing out all the useless eye-candy.

(Like years ago, Google was the search engine with the simplest design - no eye-candy, nothing that distracted the user...)

What's your (@all Elastic fans) opinion on that matter?

Content is important obviously, but visuals too.
These 2 websites have nice balance imo, don't they?
https://xel.org
https://xeline.org

(This one http://elastic.pw/ looks abandoned, and just forwards to xel.org hub.)

I like this project because Elastic is an open source project whose goal is to create the first decentralized supercomputer. Elastic was developed over the past year or so and provides the infrastructure for a decentralized and distributed supercomputer.

As far as I understand, xeline.org is more like a fan page. Not the official web site.
It's a very nice fan page but for the official web site, for my taste, it would be better not to use blue text on dark blue background and not to put a big generic picture that says nothing on the first page.

I didn't know about xel.org up until now, but there are to many bright colors for my taste (it hurts my eyes).
It's only my personal taste, but I like very simple designs without (or, at least, less aggressive) colors. I think that a more "scientific" style would also fit perfectly to the Elastic project.

I am aware that this is merely a matter of taste. Therefore more opinions would be great  Wink

xel.org has a nice sleek design imo. I think it would look more professional if they'd correct the typo in the first words you see there… "EMBARRASINGLY PARALLEL GRID-COMPUTING ON THE BLOCKCHAIN"

Hello, I just started learning more about XEL.
Have a question, what makes XEL special compared to some of its competitors (or coins with similar concept) such as GNT, SNM and DADI.
Thanks.

Well since the project is really decentralized without any real leader, the webpages are most probably both community driven and everyone is doing their best to support the project in their way. I really appreciate both and can't wait to see some proposed functions added

I can see similarities with GNT, but not with DADI. Anyway, I don't see why GNT is way better than elastic and why it should get more adoption, however, GNT is 22x more expensive.

Maybe it's okay to go back and buy XEL and wait! I ended up being disappointed with SNM! They raised $42 million and maybe that value is higher today, but nothing happens there! What's necessary is to have patience and to wait for things to happen, with this mentality, XEL is one step ahead.

Well, if you need the money to survive, you should sell instantly.

This game is a gamble, no matter how you look at it. Only keep the money invested that you can afford to lose. This has absolutely nothing to do with the quality of a project, every projects has highs and lows and if you happen to need the money when it's a low, you're screwed. I could tell you how much I think Verge sucks, that I think that Matchpool is a dead-end and that I still think XEL will make it in the long run, but that is not the point.

You need the money, you take it out. Easy as that. And by "out", I mean out-out, as in not Bitcoin, not Ethereum, but fiat. Unless you live in Venezuela or something.

Great find on https://www.elastic.pw and I feel like it's worth quoting this here as THERE IS LOTS OF UPDATES and the XEL progress this year has been fantastic.

About The Elastic XEL Project

Elastic is a revolutionary Open Source project aimed to create a decentralized trustless SuperComputer by utilizing cryptography and blockchain technology. It creates a complex platform that can execute a vast array of tasks in need of Computational resources; all is done in a P2P distributed way inside of the Elastic platform.

Elastic offers a versatile and flexible system by enabling self programmable tasks instead of hardcoded use cases. This is achieved thanks to the proprietary ElasticPL programming language. The system offers trustless access to computational resources at any time and from any location, while keeping privacy and anonymity.

Besides its own dedicated blockchain, the system contains three main components: A core client, the XEL miner, and the ElasticPL programming language. The Elastic platform uses the native XEL token. XEL serves as an accounting system and medium of exchange to reward miners with proportional bounties for providing computing power.

Want to learn more? please stay tuned, we are in the process of building our new website to give you more detailed information, and to showcase our system.

on the verge of selling verge. I prefer to hold low cap coins than investing in overly inflated coins like xvg is.
