Hi everyone, i've just created a new wallet and i want to withdraw my xel from bittrex on it.

I can't find a reception address...is it maybe my public key?

Thank you!

Your address starts with "XEL-..." and is located in the top left corner of the wallet, between elastic logo and the 4 buttons Info | Details | Copy | Redeem

thank you so much! it works! But sadly i need some more help.

Now i have this message on my wallet --> Warning: your account public key xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx has not been published to the blockchain. This means it is not as protected as other accounts. You must make an outgoing transaction to fix this issue. (Set account info, send a message, buy an alias, send XEL, ...)

What should i do?

Thanks again!
"In a nutshell, the network works like a distributed timestamp server, stamping the first transaction to spend a coin. It takes advantage of the nature of information being easy to spread but hard to stifle." -- Satoshi

Use the button 'Info'

see here for more information (it's from NXT help, but XEL is based on the same technology)
https://nxtwiki.org/wiki/How-To:AnnouncePublicKey
https://nxtwiki.org/wiki/How-To:CreateAccount#Register_your_public_key

Quote
When sending NXT to a new account using the new account's address the resulting account is protected only by 64 bit account id which is somewhat weak and not by the 256 public key which provides ultimate protection.

[Edit] No need to create new account - you'll need to perform the same steps

thank you so much.

I've just send a few xel to my bittrex's deposit. Now my account is protected? That message is disappeared.
Is it possible that in this 24 hours somebody brute force my passphrase?

Thanks again!

Did someone just sell off 10 BTC worth of XEL because of this damn BTC rise? Ah god well looks like all alts are going to suffer now. If BTC hits that $8000 anyway.

Big things for XEL and other good alts in 2018 in my opinion.

10 BTC worth of XEL is a nice chunk of money. Maybe it would have been even a larger chunk of money if he left it in XEL Wink

No doubt, I definitely agree. Genius minds of the devs I'd rather hold this than BTC anyway. I can wait and hope for the best Smiley

I can't tell you all how excited I am about Elastic and the entire decentralized supercomputer mainnet.  Patience with this one.

I have invested  in the ico Elastic for long term last year. Always believe in tech not the hype and hold long term not for short gains. and Elastic haven't reached their full potential. So wait for that as it may take more 1-2 yrs.
Patient but rewarding in the end

Is there a roadmap or timeline for this project that defines the project goals and when they're expected to be reached?
