Hi everyone,

I don't post that much on bitcointalk but I'd like to use this opportunity to actually post something useful. You see, I was an 'investor' (read: I funded the project with some btc from the start). Long term supporter here and I really like the approach that EK is taking with this project. I have full confidence that this is going to be something unique and we should give the devs all the time they need to accomplish this.

Now, why I actually want to post here is because everyone (as in: all the newbies, forums are flooded with them these days hence I'm not on here much) is asking for flashy roadmaps, updates etc. You see, I am actually able to make these things. I am a (n oldschool) crypto designer who have designed lots of projects in the past, including the Mintpal exchange logo, the Bittrex exchange logo (and graphics), the Bitcoin official SEGWIT logo and many more. I am currently only doing projects per request, and not for everyone anymore. I would like to offer my services for FREE in case EK or other devs would need me for this project. I'd like to show my support once again this way.

I believe in a great future for this project and I am very much looking forward to how all of this looks in about a year.

Let me know if you need anything from me.

Albert

Get this man a cape, you are the hero we don't deserve. I would offer my services but they would not aid any crypto at least not legally haha Grin. Good progress as of late with XEL I am confident we are on the way towards new local ATH before smashing that BTC ATH. Patience is key guys patience is key!

I get annoyed from reading the same questions and demanding requests more and more every day. Most new joining people are even unable to do basic research about a project. Statements like yours always restore my faith in the community. Really cool offer

Gnosis?
I second your concerns about this too, what is the Elastic team past experience in the field of distributed computing?
iExec team for example is constituted of PhD that wrote schoolbooks about distributed computing and have made working products in this field already?
I want to invest in this but I want to know who I'm putting my money into.

All the info that will be provided about the project, its nature, and active parties, has been provided (yes, this is it, no point in asking for more info). if you have concerns better move to one of the other projects that install a sense of security in you or wait till you have enough info to give you that feeling of security.
Nobody wants people to put money where they do not feel safe and nobody will try to convince you or anyone else to buy anything (let me remind you and all the rest here - the devs of this project and people who are spending time and effort get nothing for their effort - you buying something will give them absolutely nothing).

The elastic team can be anyone, its not a centralized coin. The team focuses on technical superiority. If you build it (properly), they will come. Give this project time. The team is working on a great product. I care more about the product than the team qualifications - their qualifications are evidenced by their work.

They do, and a lot. Just not about money related subjects, they're really open about questions about the software.

Have you been on Slack? The devs are absolutely fantastic at communicating with people interested in XEL.

I'm in agreement here.  Lots of talent that can be used to further XEL's brand and image as we get ready to launch the mainnet this year or next.

Well, why not just going for them? Schoolbooks rock!

I want to invest in this but I want to know who I'm putting my money into.

You are not putting your money into anyone. At most you exchange between two assets with some random stranger on the internet ... what does anyone here have to do with this transaction? Please don't create the impression that anyone here will necessarily receive your "money" when you buy some tokens on an exchange. It's just false! It's more likely that nobody here is getting anything from you!

What time is the block at XEL? After the transfer of coins, I have to wait a long time until the coins are confirmed. Is there any planning for this plan and what is the maximum number of transactions per block?

since ethereum is clogged in terms of network, some of these supercomputer projects are really starting to shine. The recent jump for iexec rlc could be an indication of this. Now I look at elastic and wonder if it is the right time to purchase some. I really don't know and need to make a decision soon.
