Just before it went on BTER there was a huge fud war on YAC on this forum. Think they got scared of it.

Thats right I remember it now. I think this was the best thing that could have happened as it scared off all the pump and dumpers and gave it time to slowly develop. |

got a nice price for my 1.3 YAC today 000399  only downside was realising the minimum BTC withdrawal from bter is 0.1  maybe i should buy some more YAC when the price falls |

although i am holding WDC because the price is so bad and i have 30 times as many of them

when it come to WDC i think price is a very good signal of what is really bad  |

Ooh, so that may explain in part today's rise. That warning was really annoying, tho I agree that, in retrospect, it may have been beneficial.

I just saw there's no warning and fee is standard one. I have sent them one hardline message yesterday, looks like they listened  Good job bter and as someone pointed it was maybe the blessing in disguise, it stopped usual initial pump and dump. |

Indeed. They also added YAC/LTC trading. Great news. Now trading becomes more interesting when we have two pairs. |

how exactly do you mine this coin with the wallet, I am 28 pages through and I am yet to find anything remotely close to an explanation.
I have yacoin-qt up and running but there i no mining tab as there is with litecoin for example.
or does it only appear once i have downloaded the blockchain>?

If you think you've set up wallet mining correctly, and want to check, open the debug console in the wallet and type "gethashespersec". If it reports back anything other than zero, you're mining.
