Bitcoin has clear and open chances to loose its value. But for sure this incident might not happen until few actions takes place around the world.
Like banning of Bitcoin in most of the top tier countries, even restrictions might cause a significant downfall. But I must add, completely loosing its value might be the consequences of some unlikely and rare situations.

Hi , I'm new so basically I still have a lot to learn about the cryptocurrency , but I would like to know if it would be possible for the bitcoin to start the downfall ? I mean like what scenario can happen that the bitcoin would be pushed back like 5-6 years ?
Sorry if my post is in the wrong place or it's not relevant.
Yes, but how much and when, nobody know, but yes it is possible, but if you read about investments which bitcoine did and it place in crypto it seems to be impossible.

Maybe the best scenario that could end bitcoin, is when there's a world-wide internet break down. As in, if the whole world will lose internet connection, it would be impossible for anyone to access the computer and bitcoin.

Well to think of the possibilities the thing that i foresee if there are no more investors interested in bitcoin most probably that would be the start of its downfall. But with the current scenario of bitcoin now it is impossible to loose its value for the reason that most of the investors continue to invest with it and the circulation is getting stronger. So i think that been coin will have a strong presence in the next ten or twenty years.

There is a lot of such scenarios and it is hard to choose the correct one and predict. The downfall is likely, but you will know when the dump will start. (if the news will be very very bad for crypto or bitcoin).
So in short term we could expect that but as you write in the long term perspective bitcoin's value should only growth.

Everything is possible to happen in bitcoin. Even today even we see the price of bitcoin is very high and they have possible that price of bitcoin will decrease or become 0 value in the future. But not just today we dont know when it happen. But I hope the price will increase more and live long so we can make a lot of profit in the future. Increase the price more!

Yes,  it is possible for bitcoin to be in a downfall, but not to the extent that it will go back to its initial price when it was created. A lot of people have already  put their money in bitcoin, and it isn't possible for bitcoin price to drop drastically as long as these people are still holding on their bitcoins. I think, the only way for bitcoin to lose its value is when exchanges and trading sites close, or when thee exchanges and trading sites remove btc on their cryptocurrency list, which are both improbable to happen. To sum it up, it is possible, but not probable for btc to see its value to drop that much.

I don't think Bitcoin will lose its value. As seen from its development bitcoin values continue to increase over time despite accompanied by some decline. Let's we see the value of bitcoin from previous years, it is much lower than bitcoin value at the moment. Not to mention bitcoin will still continues to be developed / still on process of maturation, which seems in the future its value will be even higher from now and will be increasingly used by many peoples i guess.
It is not possible at all for the bitcoins to lose their value in the upcoming years or so. This is because it is a decentralized economy and most of the trading nowadays is done in the form of bitcoins whether it comes to the import and export process or some personal business .From the present status of the bitcoin compared with the past market value ,it could be clear that the price would rise even higher.
It is very absurd and out of question that bitcoin are going to disappear soon or will lose value in short time. Bitcoin have the largest network among crypto currencies and we all know that cryptos are the future of the world. Only an illiterate person can think like this about bitcoin since he is not very much aware of the powers of the bitcoin. Bitcoin are going to flourish now.
Indeed bitcoin is on its way to be the best currency of the world and soon this digital currency is all alone going to be the ruler of world economy. It has got all the features of becoming an international currency. It is not only currency but an investment at the same time.

Let us all just keep investing into bitcoin because they are highly expected to increase in values from now onwards.

Yeah it is possible for the price of bitcoin to lose its value, as i see there is no stable price in bitcoin,  sometimes rise and sometimes down so we need to aware about the price.
Digital market is a volatile market. The price keeps on fluctuating at unexpected times. Actually, this is the true essence of this industry which has attracted majority towards itself. What is important to remember, the bitcoin price can recover very quickly and it has the potential to touch high targets. The predicted value of bitcoin before 2k18 is round about 7k dollars so volatility must give us happiness.

I think Bitcoin is thriving and it will never return to its original state like 5-6 years ago. Maybe it will grow or disappear forever. That does not matter, there will be a lot more money than it was born. Because of the increasing demand of people, fast payment and high security. So the digital world will grow in the future

it's possible for it to loose part of its value, but not all of it. Bitcoin's value is kind of defined by how much people are willing to give for it... so, as long as there is people to buy bitcoins 5k$ each, it will be the price. sometimes, some FUD can force people to sell bitcoins, sometimes at very low price indeed. But, hey, no matter what the price is, there will always be people buying bitcoin.

The worst-case-scenario that I can come up with, would be a 1 or 2 year crash with a 95% dip, if there's a planetary ban on Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. End even in that case, i bet my left nut that governments will secretly buy back every cryptotoken, so that, next time, they can control that money flow.
Just look at Estonia, with their Est-coin. They are begging us to join the party, yet we said "too bad it's too late for you guys.".

Jokes aside, no, Bitcoin will not loose its value. Unless there's a really big fork, and you try to do a bold move and move your coins on the weak side of the blockchain, then you're safe.
Don't forget that it's volatile, and you can loose pretty much everything in one wacky move.

It is attainable for bitcoin to lessen in price or for us to have a bearish industry but it is not attainable for bitcoin to drop it benefit now. Bitcoin as a quantity one particular cryptocurrency has been increasing in worth from inception and we anticipate this to proceed until more discover let explained 4 to five years to come minimal just before we see prolonged phrase bearish market place.

It's possible to lose its value if there will be no one who will support bitcoin when its value drops very low, and all the users will sell their bitcoin. However, I don't think it will happen now because bitcoin always recover for how many weeks after it drops. And as of now, bitcoin is becoming more popular that its demand and supply keeps on increasing. And a lot of people supports bitcoin when it drops, and they still have trust on it.

The market is now very huge and there are thousands of cash out there. SOme of them are even increased than bitcoin. They have progress, engineering, intelligent contracts, quickly transactions, and many others. The only point that bitcoin has is that it is the initial crypocurrency. in the foreseeable future, bitcoin will no more time be amount one particular and it will certainly get rid of its worth

In the near long term, no. That this took place is required for everyone to promote their coins in a brief time, but this can not be. If only the United States does not prohibit bitcoin and does not impose sanctions from bitcoin

In the medium term, there is no such possibility. I agree with you. But we can't predict the long term (i.e 5 to 10 years from now) future of Bitcoin. Technology is advancing at an unprecedented pace, and it sometime in the future newer technology will emerge, which will make Bitcoins (and all other types of crypto-currency) obsolete.

In my opinion yes, it is possible for bitcoin to loose all its value one day. But as we learned fron numerous other examples, an asset that it is appreciating, will not loose its value very easy, nor it will deprecate to nothing. For example gold it never deprecated in value altough now is a symbolic asset that a practical one.
Bitcoin is 6-7 years old, the next 5 years will tell if it will remain or loose all its value.
