Is it possible for the bitcoin to lose it's value ?

Because of its high value right now. Bitcoin cannot easily lose its value. It is posible but it will take a long period of time before it will happen.

Yes you are right,I'm agreed with you .. There's small chance that bitcoin will lose its value as the founder ever stated it, such as ; bitcoin will rise or lose its value in 20 years. But, I can't find any scenario why bitcoin could crash and lose all of its value, I mean bitcoin price already reach over $3000 and many people keep buying and more adopters join the community. Look at Japan which has legalized bitcoin as legal payment, many companies in there accepted bitcoin transaction, even an airline. That what makes it could survive another 5-6 years later. And We all know that the law of supply and demand is applicable here in bitcoin so the only time bitcoin may loose its value is when most of the people in the community stop on demanding bitcoin...

Trading even with altcoins is also risky because you never know exactly what is going to happen in the next moment in crypto market. Trading with bitcoin is riskier just because you cannot afford losing the most expensive digital currency at any cost and trading is bit unpredictable for those who are new to this field whereas as you said, holding bitcoin for long term is highly profitable and there is no risk in it.

In cryptocurrency, trading altcoin - bitcoin is normal because almost the profit all from this pair. If you are trading Bitcoin - USD, you are trading as forex market and it is not the real nature of cryptocurrency market. It seems like bitcoin is going consistently uptrend, this should make people rich especially if they invested when the price is very low.
For investors like us, we do not believe bitcoin will loss its value because we will continue to support by using it.

Yes everything is possible.Although we cannot predict the future,but we can say that Bitcoin can loose its value. Bitcoin has reached a new height and its value is almost $10,000. It is a leading cryptocurrency today and all the other cryptocurrencies and old coins are regulated with respect to it but we have to keep in mind the fact that Bitcoin is very volatile.

In 5-6 years time the value of bitcoin would depend on the investors if they would still continue to support and invest in bitcoin. With the current value of bitcoin it is impossible to loose its value and the value are getting stronger as day goes by. So loosing its value is not feasible at the moment the demand is getting higher.

This won't happen because the technology behind cryptocurrency it is viable, it has a lot of applications in several domains so, as long as there is a continuous need for bitcoin the value of it won't be lost.

Yes it is possible for bitcoin to it's value. since it happened in the late 2013 where it loses more or less 80% of its value. tho it bounces back, the recovery took too much time, people sold in panic, but those who hold their coins won big time.

so yes, bitcoin can lose it's value but it's hard to say when and why it will happen.
if ever, i think the recovery take some time before it rises up again

It's possible to lose its value if there will be no one who will support bitcoin when its value drops very low, and all the users will sell their bitcoin. However, I don't think it will happen now because bitcoin always recover for how many weeks after it drops. Yes, because nothing last forever. I mean yes it can have a possibilty to lose its value, but not this year, maybe in the next 10 years. In my mind the only thing that can really cause a crash like that is what happened in 2013 with Gox but others seem to think the government can regulate it heavily and crush it. Others also think that governments may conspire to buy a lot of it up and smash sell which would also crush confidence. Take your pick a number of things can happen but in all honestly I think they are unlikely at this point but never rule them out. That is why it is best to be safe while investing!

There is nothing certain and especially with the huge exchange rate of over $10,000 , bitcoin could be consideres as a really high risk investment as of now
