That's a good decision he have there choosing 300 BTC instead of money but unlike him I would not dropout since it is not all about money but a sense of achievement and knowledge and information you have that can be used greatly and contribute to the growth of your country. He has some point though since there really are some teachers who doesn't deserve to be a teacher and I encountered some but I'm not all reliant as to what they teach since I also educate myself through internet to understand better and learn more since there are some things that school didn't teach but is needed and important.

The boy actually made a good move by investing in Bitcoins at that time/ at that age when the value was still very low compared to now. Hopefully, he was able to buy more at that time since the value was still very low, surely that is why he is now a millionaire. Besides, the risk involved was very low since the value was very low as well. Looking the at the current price at the moment, how many Bitcoins do you think you will buy now in order for you to become a millionaire in 10 years to come? 100 or even more? Don't forget the risks involved. you might buy now and the price crashes the next day. How much are you going to spend now in order for you to become a millionaire in 10 to 15 years? Don't forget that it's a win or loose case. I personally don't think that investing in Bitcoins now is actually a good move, I think the best thing to do now is to look out for on-going and upcoming ICOs and start investing in altcoin. Since some of them might be worth more than the value of Bitcoin now in the coming 10 or 15 years. Bitcoin was once less than a dollar, those people who were able to invest the during that period should consider themselves lucky since they didn't spend more than they can loose. So in my case, It's Invest in altcoins today and be a millionaire in the future!

Going up to $1,000 per coin from $0.10 per coin was easy. But after that it is going to be difficult. In four years, we managed to reach $2,700 from $1,000. I would say that it was a good growth. A lot of stories that are the same of this. But not all are a kid.
Some are middle aged people who just kept their coins and didn't mind it because of its low exchange rate.
Now, if they will come back they will see how much they have gained.
I think this is the same for those who have managed to keep USB's and other in their computers.
Now, they might not be millionaires but having a good fortune.

the story is cool and it is not the only story out there. there are more of this kind of story.
but to promise a huge profit, to become a millionaire, ... just by investing in bitcoin is not a good title in my opinion. we don't want more speculators/investors who only care about getting rich or worse to get rich over night.
bitcoin is a lot more than just how much more fiat profit you can make.

Yes its true. If you have a bitcoin now then it is good for you. There will be someday that you will earn bitcoins and then you should earn, stored and save it. I am quite disappointed that no one told me about Bitcoin in 2010 or 2011, when the Bitcoin prices were quite low. Now the prices have already reached four digits and it may be a bit late for investing in Bitcoin. But even now, I believe that Bitcoins will give better returns when compared to equities and bullion.

One thing that is sure is the ability of not able to go back in time to correct some things which one would have done otherwise if there is enough information. At the time the boy made such investment the price of bitcoin was affordable to many but not the same thing today because to get just 1btc is not cheap not to talk of getting enough to make one a millionaire in this dispensation but only if one is willing to wait for 10 years.

because altcoins will come down just as fast as they went up. you see a >$300 rise in one month and the other you see a $200 drop and then a slow death back to $10 again.

and on top of that coins such as ethereum have a 70 million coins premined which is not a good sign for any wise investor. unless they want to do it in a very short time-frame such as that one month only.

I can say yes if there will be no problem in bitcoin like scam or getting new technology better than bitcoin i can say that absolutely you can become a millionaire in the future bitcoin will continue increasing it price in the future but today your going to need a big amount of money to invest because 1 bitcoin already cause almost 3000$ and your gonna need a lot of volume.

If bitcoin goes same trend then it will reach 10000 k in next 2 to 3 years for sure . Now bitcoin is stable state from past 1 months its fluctuating around 2500 to 3000 if any major good news will may double the value .
