Even if you just post the prices here in the forum, could you make them available? Some of us small-time miners are working to get funds in order.

"15 available / 5 sold" I saw the "Item location: Portland, Oregon, United States" Maybe it is somebody even forum members here who try to apply their account to sell pre-orders

Just because he found 5 suckers does not make it ok, at least in my view. Like I said previously, I have no problem with people making money. But taking advantage of a community open source project, and putting stuff up for pre-order, when we actually KNOW it doesn't even work yet, is pretty slimy to me. Just because people WANT to be taken advantage of, does not mean that I have to sit idly by, and watch it happen. I've said my piece. To each his own. This is not a flame, it is simply an observation. People may do with it as they see fit.

What newmars was saying is that TH is based out of the Bay area of Cali. The ebay auction is from Portland, and doubtful to be terrahash's listing.

yes that is my meaning. It is likely that the ebay auction is set by some personal seller, not Terrahasg itself. Something like BFL auctions in ebay could happen now and in the future. What newmars was saying is that TH is based out of the Bay area of Cali. The ebay auction is from Portland, and doubtful to be terrahash's listing.

Do you have any evidence (or even a clue) about who made that posting in the first place? It could have been me.. hell it could have been even you so you can make baseless accusations.

Geez, settle down.
It is obvious to me the Ebay auction is not TerraHash themselves, it is just a random joe blow trying to make a buck on the ASIC craze.
There are many people doing that left and right here on these forums as well.
He's not the only one so it's silly to single him out... I don't see much of a big deal.

You can check whatever you want in your E-bay preferences. And, it takes about 30 seconds to make your computer appear like it's from Portland, or Slovenia (nothing against Slovenia), or whatever location you want. So, while your observation is noted, it still does not exonerate Terrahash. I would like an official Terrahash response to the question of "Why are they selling nonworking Klondike 16 units on Ebay?", before I request a scammer tag in the proper forum. The final design has not been finalized by the community designer, and there is no software (to my knowledge) which will run the unit right now. Again, I'm not flaming anybody. I am simply requesting information and pointing out (potentially uncomfortable) inconsistencies (as a service to the community).

I have a problem with "the community designer", seems like an oxymoron, but what would I know. And the fact that TH will be the first to send back test data to BKK (the community designer per se) means, they can be included in said "community"

Please do not take pre-orders until you can show your unit mining.
You will help your reputation a lot.
Are these boards really 10cm x 10cm?

This listing is not ours. We are in no way associated with the person who posted this listing. I accept your explanation at face value, for whatever it's worth. They have another listing also, for K64. My suggestion is to flag it using E-bay's system. This is the kind of thing that happens when people start doing pre-orders and stuff. I suppose it is par for the course around here. Please do not take all this the wrong way. I have nothing against you, personally. In fact, I was planning on ordering a few cases from you. They do look nice.

Yeah ok.
Whatever.
If it was Terrahash why are they selling just 15 of them lol. Why not just put up the whole lot and finish it while they are at it?
