If you have a lot of bitcoin, should you spend it or save it?

Of course I will save my bitcoin but I am not saying I will not spend even 0.01 for may weekly needs. You also have to spend a little specially if you bought your bitcoin last year. But if you just bought it this year its better to hold it now and wait until next year before you can at least taste the fruit of your investment.

In my opinion, I would suggest saving bitcoin for long term investment is a good option, as the halving process continues, the bitcoin that miners can mine in every block will be lesser and lesser, this will create a less supply of bitcoin to the market, but if bitcoin demands remains high, we would see a huge price rise on it.

The smartest thing to do right now with bitcoin is to save it. I know everyone will agree with me because we all have the same goal which is for btc to reach an all time high that is $10k or more than that. It's just unreasonable for me to use btc to buy things which I can buy using fiat.

Honestly, there is just more urge now to keep saving as much as possible than to even spend. With the level bitcoin is rising up to, even those with 0.1BTC will still have something to be thankful for later on.

However, there are so many ways one can use it to get more of it rather than just leaving it in the wallet but that depends on each person's level of risk and I am not talking about ponzi schemes or HYIPs please, I am referring to legitimate ways of working hard with what you have.

Yes i agree even if you have not so much bitcoins you would have a more money not a small one but a big one. Some people can't just leave their bitcoins. They will sell them.

 I'm worried by the the time comes, bitcoin will accidentally affected by virus, or scammed, This is the most painful happen in my entire life, I used to think to spend it earlier or sell it to avoid malicious threats in the upcoming days, I read stories from the thread that somebody lost his earnings thru hacking / scam, This makes me wonders to spend it.

For me if I have lot of bitcoin I should save it. Save the 75% for the future and use it to achieve my goals and use the 20% for my daily needs, to pay the bills, and for that other financial problem. Use the other 5% for fun and relaxing.

Everyone surely do have a way they perceive things or how they want to do things. I like your strategy though and it can work for someone who rely totally on bitcoin earning. I have been saving up for a while with the huge hope that what I have will amount to something. If i have a lot of bitcoin i probably save it, spend maybe a little but most of it i will save because i`ve experience time that i dont have money at all i dont want to happen thia anymore, because im so down that days i feel im pwd that i cant do anything to earn money , all of us want the best to our family  so save it .

Interesting enough! When that time comes you might even still want to save it for a longer period until you are sure there is a little bit of balance in the market and the volatility has reduced. We don’t know how far bitcoin will get but we still keep hoping that it will get better. However, a time will come when you will be able to utilize what you have to earn a living while still keeping the capital in place.

I can not wait to buy a new car, I hope this week the price will reach $ 5000 and I will sell some BTC, if the price has not reached $ 5000 then I will sell but not much.

New car is good and of course I won't stop you from buying your new car at least if you have worked for it and earned it. After all, the good thing about working is to enjoy a good life.

If I have lot of bitcoin in my wallet then I won't hesitate in spending some of them when I am in need of money and most of them I will  save for the future and use of them in trade and investment to grow my bitcoins in long term so even if I spend them sometimes I always have an chance to recover them back by investing them in trading.

If I have a lot of bitcoin I think I will hold it and save it for many years and I think saving bitcoin will help me to have better and bright future. Saving means hold the bitcoin then i think it is not good decision because Bitcoin fate is also very risky, If i am having lot of bitcoins i will just convert 50% of bitcoin to fiat currency and secure my family with house and some invested in bank and living happily with interest earning and keeping balance as bitcoins and in future if the price soar more high then will my bitcoins value will also automatically increases.

For me, I would rather to save it because I know in that kind of strategy I able to manage well my money. Yes, somehow I will sometimesnuse in order for me to have a good life and able to sustain my everyday needs. But if you look on the other side using it or spending is also good in a sense that you work in order to earn to buy, pay and avail something.
