If you have a lot of bitcoin, should you spend it or save it?

It will depend on the price of bitcoins as if the price goes higher and if I have more volume of bitcoins in my wallet then I will spend some of them and will keep remaining for the future as price can go very high in next few years so at that time I should not be left empty handed.

Yes if we have lots of bitcoins then we won't mind it spending for shopping or for any other investment purposes but the best thing would be to save it for future so that we can sell it when price goes higher in future to make higher profits.

Having such a great count like that is a very amazing thing to think of. Ofcourse having a great count of bitcoin like that will push you to start being wise and knowing how you can let it stay for a long period of time. Saving will be a great thing or let us just say the best thing to do to be able to make your bitcoin last but saving will not just be a way to make your money grow because waiting or just holding it for a long period of time is like waiting for a tree to grow though worth a wait, we cannot still assure if the flow in the market is always on pump so to be able to add your gain, you must take a risk to spend it on useful thing such as investing into a beneficiary thing that you think can add up your current state of money.

I will not spend the half of it maybe just a quarter of it because I want to make sure that I still have many bitcoins while having fun.  It is necessary to have fun while earning bitcoins as it will make us more inspired to earn more of it.  I will make sure that I will use my bitcoin to good reasons and that I can secure my wealth.  I do not want to go back to the time where my problem is all about the money.

Instead of spending it or selling it I will prefer to invest it in trading where there is always an chance to grow my bitcoins as spending now won't be much profitable as price is expected to rise to $5k and once it gets there that would be the time to start spending them.

Well in my own opinion if i have a lot of bitcoin inside my wallet, i would like to make and start my own business like a computer shop so i could earn more money, i can also invest my bitcoins so i could double my money that i have invested. And when i started to earn a big money again i could now save them for future purposes.

Not directly. You savings or should i say earning depends on the rate at this exact moment. You can say that you are saving or earning when you exchange your bitcoin into a local or available currency and the rate ia higher than before. I think what's happening in your wallet is bug or maybe you are using your wallet address in earning online

Yeah, a steady job out of real life is still a better thing because we can not know what the future of bitcoin will be like, we need something stable for life and of course, a stable job is better. Save only a small part, then sell the rest to invest for the future, it will be a wise decision, we can not predict the future, so we should sell bitcoin at the highest price possible, this can make us regret but it will keep us safe in the future

This actually depends on the number of bitcoins that I have, if for instance I have a total of a 1000 BTC, there is no reason why to keep all of them, I can spend about 500 BTC and then use the rest of the BTC as an investment portfolio and see it grow till I feel the need to cash out again.

Well creating your own business is a great thing to do if you have extra money, but if you are depending on Bitcoin for your daily living you might as well don't think about it because it is too risky sacrificing your main income for a chance to earn a little from a start up business. A computer shop is not that bad but a lot of people have their own personal computers, some people even depend on their smartphones and don't need computers anymore.

For me, I would say that I would save it if I had a lot of bitcoins. Though with your case, OP, you are saying you have 2.1 bitcoins, that's not really significant to impact it with price increases from time to time. I recommend saving because even up to now, I think bitcoins are still under-priced and its price will go up some more in the coming months.

If you have a lot of bitcoin I think the best way to do is to save it than to spend it. In addition to that, saving and holding bitcoin will help you to make and earn more income. Holding is one of the best ways to gain more income and I believe that the price of bitcoin will increase in the future so that it’s better to hold or save it than to spend it.

I wish I had a lot of bitcoin as of today because if I did, I would ultimately go for the two  options by both saving and selling because there is no point of having thousands of dollars stashed somewhere and I can't get to enjoy life and at the same time won't sell everything then blame myself why I didn't wait a little longer in case the price just reach the moon within some few days after selling. So I will apportion my need to what I will be selling then wait again till when another need arises which I am sure I will need lesser amount of BTC to meet at any point in time.

As stated it's good to spend a part of what an user has with him. Because nothing is assured of tomorrow, and so if something happens negative too this won't affect the user. Else if everything is kept holding surely the user feels bad if the value decrease.

Well if i have a large amount of bitcoins i will seriously think about it, for example there are a lot of things that i might want to buy atm, but i prefer saving bitcoins for the future, became into the 21 btc club is my goal, and if bitcoin becaumes much expensive then you can be millionaire in a few years.
so i deffinitely prefer holding it, nobody knows what could happen with this coin.
