This question is being asked many times on this forum. You can check the answers and most of them will suggest you to save/hold/reinvest your bitcoins for longer times. Now as you stated that you kept 13 cents and it became 50 cents after 7 months or so. Well that change you may find very little but with bigger investments you get bigger returns. Also, you must invest with right time, such as bitcoin price at lower side, this means you will get more bitcoins in less amount spent. Also, when the price increases the same amount of bitcoin will have more dollar value. Thats very easy calculation but basis of how you invest. Household really hold it.
This is mostly seen in this section and i know many people answered it but i will answer it for the sake of the mankind. The 1/3 of my bitcoin is i will spend it and use it for many purposes like travels,buy some goods and many more and the rest i will keep it or save it in my wallet so that if something happen, i have left for it. Well I would like to share my opinion as I think it is good to mix both the spending for the need and to save it for the future. Bitcoin is the best saving because it has the potential to increase the value. It is all need to have the patience because the price can go down sometimes so! The right and straight way is to go through it is to hold your bitcoin even if you see the price of the bitcoin is decreasing because after a little dump the price of the bitcoin will take a high pump. You can spend some bitcoin only in the case of some emergency. |

Let's say I have 2.1 BTC And I don't spend it. Will it go up a few cents if I save it? Cause in my wallet I have up to about 50 cents worth of bitcoin. I started up with 13 cents 7 months ago. Now all of sudden I have bitcoins worth 50 cents. What do you call this? I only made that one 13 cent deposit. Nothing else!
For me i will save it and wait for the value becomes higher and if my bitcoin grow then that will be the time that i am going to spend part of it and would still invest and hold bitcoins for the future profit / earnings. |

If I have lot of bitcoin in my wallet then I won't hesitate in spending some of them when I am in need of money and most of them I will save for the future and use of them in trade and investment to grow my bitcoins in long term so even if I spend them sometimes I always have an chance to recover them back by investing them in trading.
I definitely agree with you and that is what I would do if I were in his shoe. I mean you cannot deprive yourself of the things you want to do or get. Added to that statement, It is arguably beneficial for you to save some of your bitcoin for future purposes and profit because if you save (knowing that the bitcoin price will grow), you will gain profit, thus money. |

of course, I will do both, I want to feel the results of the advantages of bitcoin for spending like a holiday or buy anything of it, then save it for the long term.

Well if i have a lot of bitcoins i will hold 50% of them for future and will spend other 50% on other business by changing it into fiat. Because I believe that investing your all savings at one place is not a good idea, to minimize the risk of loss we should invest it in different business areas.

Saving it will be my top most priority. I will hold my bitcoins as long as I could and wait for the price to go higher and if I can do trading, I will gladly be trying it. But I am not a risk taker, so probably it will be stocked on my wallet, and let it multiply.

I think you have to save or hold it because it will still rise more in the future, because of the fluctuation of the price it has the possibility to be tripled or doubled your bitcoins. If you want to have bigger returns, invest bigger amounts that will make you really gain more.
But if I already have lot of bitcoins I will get some of it to spend on the things I want because it’s my primary reason why I want to earn. I will spend it on the things that are beneficial and I really need so that I can enjoy the payments from my work.

Yea I'm not forgetting that fact that we need to spend our bitcoins for enjoyment it. And there's nothing to do but to buy those things that you really want that you can't buy before. And also it's a good time for me to have some relaxing moment with my loved ones and have some vacation. After that the rest will be put in saving and in my cold storage for long term holding again. |

I would spend some of it because we never know what the future will be. We should relax from time to time because we need it. We should not just continuously work because it would not be good for us. We need a break sometimes that's why if I have that much money then I would take a vacation and after that continue earning again. I would also spend some also to build another business to have multiple source of income and the rest would be for long term investing which means saving it.

I will keep all the bitcoin, if I sell at this time of course I will regret, the price of $ 3675 is very cheap and I will sell some when the price has reached $ 7500. I sure the price $7500 will happen soon.
For reaching $ 7500 , I think it will happen on few years ahead since for now bitcoin value kinda struggling and quite stable at the moment I'm also invest bitcoin every month after I got salary and only sold some bits only if needed |

Actually since 2012 till now, Bitcoin has risen 10 times so if you have 2.1 BTC at that moments you already multiples 10 times your valuable. Guess what ? Soon or later bitcoin gonna raise their market cap soon because there're more investors all over the world are intension on Bitcoin for now |

We all know that the bitcoin is very valuable today so it is obvious that I will save my bitcoins and I don't have a plan to spend it. If we save our bitcoins today, we will gonna have a bright future. The high value and profitability of bit coin has compelled the investors to invest in it as well hold your bit coin for long term investment. You are right that if we save it for today then you will have a bright future tomorrow as the rates and prices are increasing very fast. |

if i have more bitcoins , i would withdraw the half of it and start a small business like a small grocery store or maybe an internet cafe in that way i coud still work here online while managing my one business at home. and maybe ill go trade the other half of my balance. |

Yes you're right I think you have the right to spend it after all it is the fruit of your effort and time but don't waste it to useless things because if it will be for nothing it is better to save it because maybe someday you will need it the most. Yes I also agree with you. If you have need to sell them out then sell it otherwise keep it otherwise keep them in your wallet and wait for the price to go up. If I have a lot of bitcoin, it meat I have a lot of money and I can do anything with my bitcoin. The other reason for holding or selling depends on the current situation. Selling it can fulfill your desires and holding it can give you a lot of profit. |

I think I will save the 70% of it - savings for the future. If I need to spend it, I will make sure that I will spend it without guilt or regret, or I can say that I will spend it in important things like buying the necessities of my family. Saving, especially bitcoins is important because bitcoins value becomes higher as we didn’t expect, so if we have save bitcoin, we may convert it in a higher value and got more money. Savings will save us in the future.

Of course if i have a lot of bitcoin or coins first if not emergency or if not important to spend money should save it for the better but i want to invest a business for the future and for my family and the remaining coins should be save because we that the bitcoin value was fluctuating or up and down the amount so we should know how to manage our coins.
