If you have a lot of bitcoin, should you spend it or save it?

Holding 2.1 bitcoins is a good decision actually I'm holding almost exact amount though I spent more of my bitcoins for buying things that I need.

I have this amount for just holding it and I don't have any plans on using them for awhile, right now the thing is that I wanted to add some more amount with my total holdings.

But it's hard to do it so.

I think if I have much money I would save my bitcoin instead of spending it.  We should learn to save because the wise man said " if you can not save money the seed of greatness is not in you"  I think we should cultivate the habit of saving in other to prosper in future and we must know that we need money from our savings in other to make money in future.

I think that's the best think to do but only if you are still not satisfied with your money.
The problem with us is if we are greedy, we will never find through happiness if we will not gonna be satisfied with what we have. Honestly, I am also looking for a bigger amount of bitcoin although I hold a decent amount now, maybe if I have like 500 bitcoins now in my wallet I will stop searching and just relax and enjoy my life, besides it will grow it's value overtime so I am already insured this way.

This is a good idea providing yourself a list of the breakdown of your planned expenses is a good idea, financial planning is actually needed in order for you to experience what they called "financial freedom". But does your family really depend on Bitcoin alone? Because just by reading your post I think that Bitcoin is your main income? If so where is your main source of earning that kind of money?

That's a good plan but if in case situations arise when you'll be in need of money, don't hesitate to sell your btcs. Saving is important and its highly advisable to do so but sometimes you have to compromise like for emergencies.

For me, you can do both. i agree with you. if we can save, its good for us in future and beside that, while we are save, we can spend it for buying something we want like buying food, drink or else. but we don't need to spend for buying stuff that is not really necessary. it is our jobs and our responsible to manage our bitcoin so we can do both like above me said and in future, if bitcoin price is increase while we have a lot of bitcoin, we can cash out to buy something bigger with that money.

Not just financial management is important. But managing bitcoin is also important. If you have some bitcoin of course first allocate most of your bitcoin you got in storage/saving. Because this is the most important thing for your future. Then allocate a few percent to grow, and the rest is possible to spend

Well that's true. Make a better calculation and diversify the number of bitcoin. This will let the user have a good profiting and benefits using bitcoin. Just hold certain volume into cold storage as a long term asset. With the rest try to make the best profit as based on the investment the user gets profited.

I will just save it. Hold it long term. As long as there's no reason for me to spend it, I will keep on saving it. I know that your hand is getting itchy and you want to spend all of your money at once. You might want to even buy the things that you wanted for so long. Sure, you can do that. But you will regret it later when the price of bitcoin starts to increase. You will think to yourself, "I could have bought better gadgets if I cashed out now instead."

It's always a good thing to travel, buy things that you want, or do whatever you want with your money. But I wouldn't do that with my bitcoins. I'm always thinking that if I had cash instead, I will recklessly spend it because I don't have to think about the value of the money that I'm using to increase in the future.

With that, what I do is that I cash out 0.1BTC worth of cash whenever there's a major price increase. Just so I can buy the things and foods that I want every now and then. I don't want to just keep on earning and saving and ending up never getting to use the money that I spent a lot of time on to earn.

I will spend it for my daily needs like food,clothes etc. And also for the gadgets that i want. I want to buy new phone that has amazing specifications. And a computer also that is high quality. But if there is nothing that is need to spend with. I will save it for the sake of my future expenses.

I'll keep keep, I'm sure this year's bitcoin price will reach at least $ 5000, so if I'm spending of course I'll regret it as the price keeps going up.

I am not expert but I see normal and good positive vibrations about bitcoins. What I mean? If I had that amount of bitcoins then Ill hold it because I thing soon or not price of bitcoin will growth up because a lot people start use this kind of currency and I think it cannot be stopped easily. But there is and another part of earnings if you hold BTC then this amount work on you but as background mode not like you can get cash right not it's long terms investitions. Now fees big head ache who ever wish to sell the bitcoin to exchange it fiat currency. At least we need to save the bitcoin for a month of time and sell it out. Frank fact holding bitcoins will work more than anything.

If you will just hold it for period of time, it is assured that its value will increase. 2.1 BTC is a huge amount. You'll get profit if you will save it but it will take a long period of time.You should invest it to make it grow faster than in saving. It will be a bit risky but surely the profit is bigger and will depend to you. Make a research to assure that your investment will be profitable.

Well it depends on you because, if you have less financial obligations it will be better to save your bitcoin because its value keeps on increasing day after day and at the end of the day you will make profit from your saving. But if there are financial obligations for you to take care off please do , because money is meant to  solve financial problems.
