I believe Bitcoin has a future in long term. It proved itself in the past years and it is getting widely popular. It just has a transaction fee problem atm.
What about the altcoins? Who does use them for real? Will people use them in the future for real purpose?
I only have a hope for ethereum and litecoin, but not for the rest. I am not even sure for eth and ltc.
If bitcoin solves the reansaction fee and time problem, I doubt eth and ltc even have a future.
altcoins will certainly be widely used in the future and more people will have it so altcoins will be achieved as a currency even though there are still many people or countries that doubt it |

So far, alt coins right now is at its pretty bad shape.
I bought NXT for about 1400 sats and now its on 950 sats. It's getting lower and lower.
It's a good time to buy and my only regret is I should have wait this October to buy alts

I still believe in the future of Altcoins.
If we think, cryptocurrency market is something similar to stock market, Bitcoin is Apple, Eth is google, but we still have more rooms for Facebook, Microsoft, Oracle and so many stock giants.
But know, Bitcoin is toooo strong, everyone is expecting HF as a alchemy.
If you have some bitcoins, when you wake up there are bitcoin and bitcoin XXX.
This stupid scheme has to be removed in order to develop this market.
After this problem is solved, I think the chance for Altcoins will start.

Yes. Maybe it is not clear for now on where they are heading because they are still in the middle of it's progress but I know that we will appreciate it after it is done and when it is already used by big companies and businesses. I'm sure that it is going to be a thing of the future and we just need to wait.

Every alts doesn't showing downfall. You might be unlucky to get the right asset. Even with altcoins can't expect the profit in a less time, because to get into circulation through various trading websites it takes time. These days quite often alts are getting into red mark, so such opportunities need to used to buy upon analyzing the market. |

Depends on the alt coin, but you shouldn't hold altcoins permanently think of them as a way to increase your BTC stack and don't grow emotional to them.

Altcoins will only progress if we do believe in their capacity to deliver what is necessary,we cant deny that bitcoin dominated the wholeness of crypto coins.but without the alts competition wasnt indeed so how can the crypto grows with only single coin on process.so i do believe in some altcoin because most of the alrs that coming now is scams

Not all alternative coins have a future. Other altcoins do not have a potential on surpassing bitcoin but others have the potential of beating bitcoin just like bitcoin gold.

Altcoins are aimed at facilitating and solving real problems in different spheres of human activity, using the technology of blockchain. So naturally they have a future, but not all. Most is obvious scam presently.

I think it will depends on what will happen to bitcoin in the future. Its high fees and slower transaction time compared to other coins can be a major drawback. But if in case it will come up to a solution then I think bitcoin will still remain as the top cryptocurrency. I cant generally say altcoins dont have a future. I am just pertaining to cryptocurrencies that can be use for payments. As per other coins which have other uses like for platforms, security, privacy, banking transaction and private token, then there will be a niche for them. If they can succeed to their objectives and be usable by the public without downtime and leaked and flaws then in my opinion there will be a place for them in our future.

Of course many altcoins will have good future. Even the newer coins now are already trying to enter the top 10 and replace the older ones. Because many newer coins offer better tech and platforms. Change is constant and those coins that aren't have much capability will be live behind.

I believe litecoin and ethereum have a future it will increase their price in next year I just keep holding, some altcoins I hold did not increase the price so I sold them, I'm gonna stick litecoin and ethereum.

For me all Altcoins made for special purpose they don't just exist for nothing,if we have doubt about if altcoins has a future there is future its for sure.

I believe it is dependent on case by case. If the cryptocurrency makes sense within the product, then yes it will continue to grow. Otherwise it will fade out to replace traditional and new means of crowd-funding instead of ICOs.
Hence phasing out altcoins and replacing them with products/services.

Why not? I think there can be so many crypto just like there are many national currencies. One of them like btc and eth can be the major one (like doll and euro) and the others can be local

Altcoins definitely have a future. They are a whole new market within themselves. They are not only used for investing but also business and transactions. Many different and diverse altcoins are popping up every day and some really are thinking outside the box.

Surely, Yes! they a future because the future of crypto currency isn't relying only for Bitcoin itself. It is just like each local currency of each country. One world one money is very impossible to adapt in this generation because not all countries will going to adapt a single currency, like US dollars, even it has dominated the world but it is impossible to circulate a single currency to a single world.
