Hi everyone,

What advice would you give a HS senior in US about to decide on and/or enter college ?
YEs You have to enter college so that you may have a good future

That is such a lie, nobody needs college to be happy or to have a life he wants ?!?! It is what you want that defines what you need to do to achieve it.
College just means getting a job easier in some fields. But it teaches you basic knowledge, if you want to specialise in something in 2 years less, grab some books, go ask for internships, gather some work hours and you will achieve much more if you know what you are doing and you love what you are doing...
Who do you think will get hired ? A person with a degree that passes the job test worse then a droput that learned by himself and does that job with his eyes closed ?

Going to college is your choice but I think its a must in this time. You should go to college because it is good if you finish college and have a degree. You can have a stable and good job if you finish college. Also, you will be very proud of yourself if you have that diploma in your hands.

It's not a question of "if you go to college" it's about what course you will take. For me, college is not just the amount of knowledge you will get, it's about expanding your social network. School, especially in college, is a perfect way to expand. It is a culmination of different generations in one place. Not just in school, but because of school, they will send you to other places with a specialization of your course. But that's me.

If you have the resources to go to college then go. Do not waste any opportunity to learn something new. Gain more knowledge and use it for your future. It doesn't hurt to study a little bit more than regret not going in the end.

Then try to give yourself an education. College life is something you can add in your portfolio. IF you graduate in college you could get what your ideal profession you want.

If you want a secure path, then go for college and study hard. Unless you have anything else that you can do to earn for living and make yourself rich, then do not go to college. It is all up to you if you want to be a successful. That is your choice.

yes you should go to college because there is a big chance for you to land a very promising job if you have a degree. And there is a career path when you are a degree holder.

It's worth it if you have an idea of what you want to do. Don't waste years attending for a useless degree. You have to think about ROI.  If you study a topic that can make you enough money to live for the rest of your life and you enjoy it then that should be your goal! But don't take out 100,000 for no reason. There is nothing wrong with learning a trade and excelling in it.
I still think it's a great investment. Also don't go to university.com  cause the degrees are  meaningless.

Well if you go to college and graduated with a degree at least you'll have more upper hand than other people that didn't study, even though maybe you don't want to take one you should still try to.

Yes. You should go to college. If you want to have more opportunities in life. If you are a college graduate. You can have your own profession that you can use in your life and apply it to help others and to help your environment.
