You're right. One of the reasons why is it's the most popular is because it is the first ever cryptocurrency. Also because it took time before altcoins emerged, that's why for a long time Bitcoin has the spotlight, getting all the media attention. But it's slowly changing now as altcoins are getting better and better.

I guess this is not the case, this is not just whose being the first, it is a matter of how strong and well develop this technology is, that is being gathered numerous support from devs and users.

I guess this question is not necessary we already know that bitcoin is the most popular but why? I guess the only reason is because it is the original and it is the first or in short the origin of all of this cryptocurrency we already know that bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency so probably no doubt about it it is the first one to become successful in some ways that why it has cost a lot in all of time and the number one because basically the other are just alternative token or in short just a copy of bitcoin.

Aside from being the first made cryptocurrency, the BTC  is being popular of its different characteristics. Bitcoin is buzzing all around news and media, and might seem to be the future of finances. At this point, you almost can't argue that this technology is yet to shine and just like any groundbreaking know-how it needs time to be figured out and being implemented. Now, if you take some altcoin, you will have a very hard time exchanging it for your local currency or finding a place where you can spend it. The reason for this is because people don't see any need to work with altcoins if Bitcoin works just fine.

Those other crypto currencies have been controlled by a central body unlike bitcoins which is open for all. It gained popularity ever since because it is free and made originally to escape from the banks and other financial institutions. Right now, its market value is 5705 USD. This have increased from the past months because of increase in investments.

It is not! Bitcoins were not the first cryptocurrency for everybody's info! If you all check even the white paper of satoshi, he has attributed a lot of works of other cypherpunks. There have been a lot of cryptocurrencies before bitcoins, but only bitcoins made a blockchain which has been the defining feature it had over the others. You better read on your history.
