I believe that they're popular mainly because well it was the first of all cryptocurrencies to be made. Honestly most of the other coins are scams and greedy ways that the developers make money. The only other coin I can think of that isn't a scam are dogecoins! What do you think?
Well, bitcoin has been the most popular cryptocurrency among all the other cryptocurrency because it is the first to be established cryptocurrency compared to the others that have just been rising after the establishing of bitcoin also as you will observe, mostly cryptos are traded into bitcoin because it is widely used and has been the popular crypto across the world that is well known by many people who have been using cryptocurrency. |

Bitcoin is popular because of its expensive market value which is due to the high market demand generated by its large community. As it is becoming more popular, more people are being attracted to the profit that its users are having that makes its community even more larger and its market demand higher that result for its value to be more expensive making it more popular. It is like a cycle.

Because the value of bitcoins continues to rise despite a lot of scare from big players of this digital currency. Meaning, its usefulness, and relevance to the market become so popular and at the same time a high demand causes to make it rise. a lot of countries nowadays has created their own cryptocurrency...
Even there are a lot of countries that has their own cryptocurrency, it is still not enough to be a good competitor of bitcoin because the price of bitcoin shows a big difference between bitcoin and the other cryptocurrency so it is not easy to tell that bitcoin will be outperformed. Bitcoin will gain more popularity as the year passes and it will result for the investors or holders to gain more profit in the future. The first one doesn't guarantee anything to be the best , We can see it on yahoo case as it come first but google beat it even come late after , Same thing could happened in bitcoin where the first cryptocurrency could lost its existence with the other coins that has better feature , But yeah so far we can't see any real competition along with bitcoin. |

Bitcoin became the most popular currency because as we all know, bitcoin was the first cryptocurrency to be established way back then and the other cryptocurrencies or also known as alternate cryptocurrencies are just inspired by bitcoin. Also, bitcoin was the first thing you will encounter upon entering the world of cryptocurrency. In addition to that, as you will observe, mostly alternate coins are traded and turned into bitcoin since bitcoin was already widely accepted and used by many people worldwide |

Nowadays, the number of bitcoin users are rising. They believe in bitcoin as digital currency to use it as payment.
Yes, i started to used this to help my parents with our bills, i find it more easier even if i am at school, i find a way to pay our bills, my mother is very happy about it. |

It became popular because it is the founding father of all cryptocurrencies and many major companies now are accepting bitcoin as payment and I think it is the best way to promote bitcoin in the industry |

I agree that a large part of bitcoin's popularity is its status as the very first cryptocurrency. In business there is a real phenomenon called the first-mover advantage. Bitcoin has built up a brand name that is hard for other cryptocurrencies to rival. Right now the brand name is as powerful as the technology behind it.

Its because bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency that's why it is the most popular. Bitcoin has been the star for a long time before altcoins came and because of the high price of bitcoin I think is the reason why it is so popular but altcoins are becoming famous too as days passed by so who knows. Maybe altcoins will be more popular than bitcoin in the succeeding years. |
