I think because other cryptocurrencies exist after seeing bitcoin, roughly, they are bitcoin imitators. So Bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency, automatically people recognize bitcoin earlier than other cryptocurrencies. That's why bitcoin is more popular than others. And for me for now bitcoin is the best.

I think the reason is simply because it is the first crypto currency that become successful,
There are some crypto currency before bitcoin was born but they all have been failed so I think it is the reason.

probably not just doge. but there is still ethereum that really has great potential and popularity. I believe in ethereum. |

It is true thay the bitcoin is the most popular and strongest coin in the cryptocurrency. Many investors are prefer to invest their money to the bitcoins because of the benefits that the bitcoin has. |

I think bitcoin is the most popular cryptocurrency because it was the origin of all cryptocurrencies. I can also say that it is the most successful in all cryptocurrencies. A lot of investors chooses bitcoin rather than those altcoins because they think that they will earn more by investing to this cryptocurrency. So I think being origin, successful, and promising makes bitcoin popular.
bitcoin is the first crypto, you can see the current bitcoin price, and compare with other altcoin prices, of course everyone is very interested in bitcoin, let alone this forum on behalf of bitcoin ie bitcointalk. and this forum can be to ask questions about bitcoin and altcoin. |

This is true bitcoin market demand is too high that is why it is profitable. A lot of people are investing because it is convenient to use and profitable at the same time. It's price is volatile that is why it can increase or decrease fast depending on it's market demand. |

Bitcoin is most popular cryptocurrency because it was mother of cryptocurrency or the first cryptocurrency ever made, Thanks to Satoshi Nakamoto. Also some coin just copying the algorithm, etc or just develop what's already in the bitcoin and make his own coin. But some cryptocurrency actually have really good features which is bitcoin don't have.

Even before the development of bitcoin some type of digital transactions were taking place, but none of them gained this type of recognition as bitcoin. This really is all because of the distributing that happened with no marketing via media or any other platforms. Second is the development it's achieved in a very smaller period of time.

Well if you'll think of it that ay, bitcoin is popular because it's been the oldest of all crypto coin so it is only normal that most community have already known it which makes it that popular which unlike other coin that has only been released like a year or two. There is ETH which is showing potential to be popular yet it is not a coin. Bitcoin provides a lot of opportunity to both young and adults in the community so it is only normal for people to spread word about something where they can all benefit. maybe because bitcoin is the one who initiate the digital currency because its the first and oldest crypto that why its so powerful and popular to the masses, so i think this is just normal for bitcoin to be the main topic when crypto currencies are being said |

I thonk the reason is very simple.
Since it is the first then it is normal for it to become more pppular than other coins. It has already gained a lot of trust from a lot of people already therefore it is also being used more as compared to other coins.
