BTX per share is higher than SIGT (below 10 cents) vs BTX - around 2.50$
I have to compete with more miners in SIGT vs BTX at yimp pool.
Not sure to understand here. It's not the first time I see you tell something like that, as if you were prefering 1 complete coin unit (like 1 BTX) over another coin fraction (like 0.00055 btc) that would have the same value. But it doesn't make sense for me as only the final value matter.
True, it could have come up to nearly the same or slightly lower profitability but at the end of day my holdings per BTX coin value is much higher than SIGT and moreover 1080ti on ccminer seems very effective mining BTX.
How much hashrate do you have with the 1080tis ? I get 25mh at Bitcore and 15 to 17mh for 1070 depending on OC. @Phil , what are you planing to mine with the 1080TIs nowadays?

I am not saying your wrong, just things are not adding up for me to switch. I value your input all the time very highly, but im not unstanding how its less profitable for you... are you using mod 3 for skunk?
I currently have 27 1080ti's all on skunk, according to Suprnova, i have actually earned 1660.12165815 SIGT for the last 24hrs using ccminer skunk mod version 3. Which comes out to 61.48598733888889 SIGT per card. Even with SIGT approaching a weekly low, thats 0.0010452617847611 btc or $4.50 per 1080ti.
You stated your making between 17-22 coins on BTX for your 12 gpus, thats $3.41 to $4.42, so by my math your best performance is still lower than sigt with it approaching an all time weekly low... it may benefit you to move back over. Just to keep an eye on BTX i have added BTX on Awesome Miner so i can keep an eye on it along with SIGT, i may do a profit switch setup between SIGT,BTX, and LBRY... LBRY has been #2 on my list for most profitable behind SIGT for multiple days.
I'm still thinking like you Storx. Dropped 50mh to BTX for testing purpose in order to understand if we are missing something. But pretty sure SIGT mining + holding will be a better plan than BTX direct selling to BTC. But this is gambling as usual with any holding...

I was researching the following schemes.... Masternodes, POS, Staking of coins, Dividends for owning shares/coins.
The ones that I have currently are PAY(TenX) and NEO/GAS - both rewards me in forms of GAS coins (NEO) and ETH for every share of staked PAY (TenX). Both are doing quite well and value has been rising handsomely.
I dont have to have a specific number of shares to qualify for these rewards.
Unlike masternodes, you have to have a certain amount to qualify to become a Masternode.
Staked coins or dividend paying coins are better deal.
Where do you exchange PAY? Is it a safe coin to invest right now?

They will probably grow more. + there is actually no good service for cryptocurrencies payment cards so no real competitors.

Phil why skunk at nicehash? Do you prefer it over mining at zpool? How is it working can you post your bat file?
I am currently mining at zpool. Sometimes it is better than skien sometimes not. Here is my bat file for others interested.
ccminer-x64 -a skunk -o stratum+tcp://skunk.mine.zpool.ca:8433 -u 1NAr74hNRJjyNrdqWyAJigxToAo3y5dPJV -p c=BTC --cpu-priority=3 -i 22
This is for 1080ti -23 might be better hash.

Seeing quite a few people in here posting things like I will mine Eth until the 1st NOV, or I mine such and such coin because it is going to go up in value!
This is just silly. Stop doing this now. Esp on 1080ti mining ETH is just silly. Always mine what is most profitable and buy the coins you want. In the case of ETH you can probably get 30-40 more ETH this way.
Just saying...

yeah pretty bad numbers. I am glad I ordered 3 x 1080 ti's last week What's a fair price to pay for new 1080 ti's ? I've seen them for around $720 in my area.

I have moved all my rigs off sigt for the time being and watching the price carefully for an out option on my coins... currently staking 212k sigt coins. There apparently was a huge fight amove the dev team or something and one left and dumped over 500k sigt coins bottoming out the price causing a mass panic. Also same said person was apparently scamming some spanish investors by telling them false info... no official news been released from it except the screen shot of the single wallet with a move of 537k coins to cryptopia, then sold.... noone really knows who's wallet that was so the news could all be fake for sake.. just felt a little unsure to continue mining it. I actually tried out bitcore for about 20 minutes and then compared it to the coin showing good profits on awesome miner and LBRY was about $30/day better based on a 20min test of mining it.. pretty close so either way is good.. just felt like mining something sellable on bittrex right now since i have so much btc tied up in the drama around sigt at the moment.
according to awesome miner, my combined hashrate when on sigt was 1,358.1MH/s using skunk mod 3, and yes it was a non free edition, but im told the latest release of 2.2 by Tanguy Pruvot is literally the same miner....with same hashrates..
In regards to purchasing, i bought all my 1080ti's from Ebay during the sales of 8-12% off deals.. I signed up for 3 different ebay accounts using address from my own address, and the address of my neighbors asking for their permission to use those address. I have not had any issues with this method so far, i can pickup 2 gpu's per sale, so 6 at a time.... The Fedex/UPS drivers know me pretty well, so typically they just leave all 3 address packages in my name in my mail box

I get 54-56 depending on card model. -500 mem +150 core 85% tdp. You can do -26.5 for a slight boost that works out to around 15cents per 1080 ti depending on your power. I am using epyslons 2.2?

good info on SIGT - I think there several other platforms competing with SIGT like Humaniq, Pillar and soon NEO - as far identity management is concern - from what I hear in my trading community chatter.... the internal infighting was about the technology road map - going on for quite some time - the dev leaving and dumping is news to me.

I've been trying today to figure out how to mine coins outside of nvOC. It looks like I either have to compile something like ccminer on linux or just purchase an ssd or m.2 and install windows. I'm leaning towards using an ssd (64gb) since I know windows so much better than linux. Any suggestions out there?

And this is why I would never hold any signatum. Pretty good sign it's dodgy as. Easy to mine it and drop it. The latest release by Elypson or however you spell his name based on Pruvot is literally 100% not the same miner and has better hash Rates. I am getting upto 3-5.5 better hash. SP accused the creator of having a bug where it reported higher hashrates than on the pool. This was proven wrong by myself and some others and SP later conceded his is not as good. It was a bug with another one klrnx or something or/and a bug with supernova. Also SP_ work is not open source so not sure how someone could claim it as there's unless it is 100% identical. Can you post how you worked out the profits for LBRY mining? I never really saw it as worth mining other than maybe one or two days. What miner are you using? EWBF? It has actually picked up a bit nice.

A day? That just doesn't sound even slightly credible. I mean that is 40$ worth LBC a day on one card with almost zero degradation to ETH mining. So probably like $44 a day. That is more like 10 cards...
