Hi Everyone!

Just posted this in the 'Newbie Intro" section, but wanted to post here as well to introduce our new payment platform, http://www.UseMyCoins.com.

We've been 'lurking' in the Bitcoin world since last summer, as we have been trying to educate ourselves about Bitcoin.

Our parent company, UseMyServices.com, is a pioneer in the 'real time' bank payments space. We launched in 2002, amid huge skepticism, but survived anyway(!). Our proprietary technology allows consumers to pay for online goods and services directly from their bank accounts - and unlike ACH or ECheck - we actually 'seize' the funds immediately, so the merchants know that the funds are good at the time of the authorization - not 3 to 5 days later.

Our services are currently available for consumers in 18 countries, and merchants around the world. Our merchants enjoy a 99.999999% Good Funds Model on approved transactions.

Our goal is to provide, through a few key Bitcoin payment processors, a new safe and cost-effective ONLINE funding method for Bitcoin purchases.

Just to clarify - we will not be providing wallet services or direct merchant services, but rather will be the 'backbone' platform to these processing partners.

As a licensed MSB in Canada, with more than 10 years in high risk processing and alternative payments, we hope to become a trusted partner in the Bitcoin community, and help it grow and prosper around the world!

We have also just launched a new crowdfunding project (we have always been entirely self-funded!) at http://www.indiegogo.com/usemycoins. All funds are to be used for adding additional countries to our platform, as it is a very expensive process.

We would appreciate any and all support offered - especially in helping to spread the word - your Tweets and Likes are huge right now!

Melody

I'm setting up a website to take small orders of PCBs for hobbyists and prototyping. I'm still coding the site but it should be up within two weeks if everything goes to plan. It would be good to talk to people with experience of accepting bitcoin for goods online..

C. Rutledge Wilson of Defense Distributed - http://PrintableGun.com

We're stepping out and publicly raising money to prove and spread a CAD/STL file for a completely 3D printable handgun. We're hastening a brave new world, and are happy to be at the nexus of First and Second Amendment and IP issues.

We've been getting a lot of support in Bitcoin, so I wanted to join the forum and learn more myself!

That's a fantastically crazy idea. Is there now an extrudable plastic which can take the force of the charge?

I am interested in starting a few businesses that cater to bitcoins and other online-only currencies, mainly offering secure methods of doing transactions for currency-to-currency exchanges but also for any sort of good/service that is purchased over the internet.

I'm also a long-time trader in both bitcoins (about 16 months now) and equities, currencies, commodities, and bonds (over 10 years), including a 3 year stint at a prop-trading firm, essentially a swing trading hedge fund with scaled trader payouts.  Crazy times.  Anyway, I have been thinking of setting up an actual company offshore and starting a hedge fund that would essentially offer returns that aren't diminishing (as in bitcoin miner bonds) over time and giving people who have a large bulk of their assets in bitcoins the opportunity to get involved in international finance opportunities without having to go through all of the hoops to get it set up themselves, especially since my brokerage already allows me to add corporate/business accounts and is already set up to handle a huge laundry list of domestic and international assets.

I am working on an actual investment strategy breakdown and prospectus with some hard-line rules and a good, solid contract that can be respected by both parties (judge.me is international, and all of my personal and business information will be available to investors once the time is right)

My account is very, very new, but I have been a long, long time lurker on here (since back in the days of 10-cent bitcoins), and just never really had a reason to sign up.  It's time.

I'm developing products that conform to my strict ethical standard. I focus on privacy, because I am convinced that all the data that is collected about you will eventually be used against you. I teach people how they can minimize the amount of data that's collected about them, and in that way dodge the future risks.

As the current financial system continues to deteriorate, the taxes will increase for the middle class, while the rich is making a killing. This is a natural function of a monetary system where inflation is viewed as the golden goose.

I accept Bitcoin of course.

Check out my website for more information.

I'm an eBay seller. I have 90+ items to get rid of, and I'd like to expand my customer base by accepting bitcoin and using the forums here. If I can be allowed out early, that'd be great.

I am developing a health suppliments website for gym enthusiasts and was considering selling exclusively in BTC as a competitive advantage. I would like to talk with other vendors and share experiences in selling with BTC. So far it seems people would rather save BTC. I would also like to talk about how to turn that retail confidence around. It would cripple any countries economy. Seems most people would rather milk a cow for a bottle of milk then spend precious BTC on one.

I'm here to find or even hire help to finish my bitcoin faucet.  The only thing I need help with is the JSON RPC communication to use the sendmany() command automatically.

We're interested in establishing a business grounded in providing helpful information and guidance to the layman interested in investing in the bitcoin market (you can call it a trust fund). We'd like to have a website built and moderated ASAP; wherein we'll manage a blog that our investors can reference to learn more about the day-to-day activities within bitcoin's economy. Before long they should look no further than the television news, but a blog will suffice for a multitude of needs.

In addition to those services, we've set goals to establish a business that can be funded initially by private investors, followed by an IPO on the GLBSE. More to come from that.  Wink

Thanks for considering us businesses!

Coinvestor Team

I would absolutely be interested in that!

I wonder how much development in bitcoin mining/transactions can be done, now that many solutions have been made already.
