The party begins. I expect huge volatility, so great chances to profit very quickly.

Go have a look at the order book for it vs XBT.

Funny!  Cheesy

(Being at work without direct access to my wallet, I have no chance to cash in on the silliness myself ...)

I have bitcoin in my bitcoin-qt wallet.
What do I have to do to get BCC?
1. Copy your wallet.dat to the BCC client directory
or
2. Export your private keys and import them to electrumcash.org wallet

This thread is full of idiots who wants to lose money.

What do I have to do to get BCC?
There is no BCH until they actually mine a block. This altcoin will be dumped to the ground.

2. Export your private keys and import them to electrumcash.org wallet
Which is not recommended at all, unless you want to expose yourself and potentially lose your BTC along the way.

They spun up a ton of nodes to fake community support (which does not exist). Roll Eyes

What do I have to do to get BCC?

Open the debug console on Bitcoin Core the wallet and export the private key of the BTC address with the balance you want to import in to the BCC ABC wallet:

Code:
dumpprivkey <BTC address>

Close the Bitcoin Core wallet, open the BCC ABC wallet and import the key you just exported with:

Code:
importprivkey <BTC address private key>

The wallet will rescan and import the balance from the BTC address to a BCC address.

Any evidence that electrumcash might be harmful?

Who would have thought that Amazon would be the first winner? Grin

This won't help mining Bcash blocks though.

Now I'm thinking something's like Tor's consensus weight could be useful for blockchain nodes too

Scammers be scamming with their fake Bitcoin. Smiley

You shouldn't run any software that isn't reviewed, rather than wait for evidence that it is harmful: https://twitter.com/ElectrumWallet/status/891935330235973633.

Astroturfing, fake nodes (we've seen this with XT and Classic). Not surprising for big blockers. Roll Eyes I've banned every single ABC/Cash node I could see.

10 block difference already. I'm thinking this coin doesn't have enough hash power.

Oh my.

We still haven't found our BCC block 478559...

https://cash.coin.dance/blocks

But ViaBTC assures me that they are devoting as much hashingpower to BCC as BTC...

Because not enough hash power. It will take more time if not enough hash power.
