There are legal reasons why , BCH will never be recognized as BTC/XBT.

Care to elaborate?  Such legal reasons may impact the SegWit2x effort, a similar hardfork planned for November but where many proponents clearly intend to recognise their fork and only their fork as Bitcoin (BTC).

I think this is what those supporting Segwit2x want to use BCC as a testnet for their proposed November hard fork, if there is no community support they will definitely drop their hard fork, I don't see this coin having much community support especially with the way they go about it.

isn't he missing, or rather pissing all over, one of the other more important points - 1 cpu = 1 vote.
You are wrong.
You should go back and look again at the bitcoin.pdf: https://bitcoin.org/bitcoin.pdf
Nowhere you will find 1 CPU = 1 VOTE.
You will find instead 7 times: "CPU power"

Of the linked whitepaper, section 4 paragraph 3 begins:
Quote from: Satoshi Nakamoto
The proof-of-work also solves the problem of determining representation in majority decision making.  If the majority were based on one-IP-address-one-vote, it could be subverted by anyone able to allocate many IPs.  Proof-of-work is essentially one-CPU-one-vote.  The majority decision is represented by the longest chain, which has the greatest proof-of-work effort invested in it.  If a majority of CPU power is controlled by honest nodes, the honest chain will grow the fastest and outpace any competing chains.

On introducing the concept, Satoshi did offer the simplified explanation of proof-of-work: "essentially one-CPU-one-vote".  He was pleased to observe that this method, unlike others he could conceive, required no special authority.

With this, Satoshi was able to replace thoughts like "If a privileged timeserver is honest" or "If the authority responsible for assigning IP addresses is honest" with "If a majority of the global hashrate is honest".

Both branches will continue to use proof-of-work in the way Satoshi described.  There is no deviation on the part of the Bitcoin Cash branch.

Wow a bitcointalk staff member has no idea about the bitcoin whitepaper and he was so sure that there isnt any  "1-cpu-1vote" inside.

@Theymos, how do you choose these staff members again? It seems you randomly pick anybody:)

Only, a big part of BCC is the (at-best) unethical, continued use of an illegally-implemented, patented technology referred to as ASICboost.

I challenge you to explain how ASICboost is any more a part of Bitcoin Cash than it is a part of legacy Bitcoin.

Come to think of it, I also challenge you to explain how ASICboost is illegally implemented.

What is bcc then? Is it potential currency is case of the hard fork? Then how does it have its price while being no premined and no ico thing? Or will bcc exist in any case and it will still somehow be a soft fork? Is bcc going to take btc's place and all the money will be transferred there? Or is it just in hard fork case?

BCH is a altcoin spinoff happening on aug 1st. It will never have anything to do with bitcoin (BTC). At this point I expect the BCH HF to occur and it isn't a bluff. I also expect the price of BCH to crash and remain just another altcoin with a small community of supporters
Thank you for clearing that up for me, because when I read the first message in this thread it sounded as if bcc has strict connection with bitcoin. Other people where even writing that perhaps the have the price connected and so if one is a few hundreds up then the other is down in the same sum.
Bitcoin Cash trading now live at yobit, the market is jumping and falling right now in the range of 0.6 btc to 0.1 btc! volume is at 54BTC at the moment!
How can it be live at yobit if segwit is not implemented yet and I guess miners haven't started mining it yet?

Wow a bitcointalk staff member has no idea about the bitcoin whitepaper and he was so sure that there isnt any  "1-cpu-1vote" inside.
There is, but it is no longer relevant due to ASICs and strong mining centralization. HostFat, like all of these fanatics, misquotes the whitepaper and handles technicalities like a religion. None of the people involved in this project are even remotely competent in comparison to the people working on Bitcoin.

I challenge you to explain how ASICboost is any more a part of Bitcoin Cash than it is a part of legacy Bitcoin.
Covert ASICboost and Segwit. Look it up.

Come to think of it, I also challenge you to explain how ASICboost is illegally implemented.

Unless the rebel group have many billions of Dollars they will only be able to artificially support BCC/BCH for so long. Just dont sell BCC/BCH to them too low. Sell it higher to drain their funds quicker and dont place buy orders.

Has anyone actually reviewed the code changes to that wallet?

The coin will be dumped to the ground.

Fake Bitcoin, fake balances. Roll Eyes Why are you even surprised? Centralized services can put up any number as your balance.

Is this the coin Jihan premining?
No. That was the original "UAHF", but it was abandoned by Jihan and Bitmain. BCH has near zero mining support.

It is the same as IOUs. They have done it previously with tokens like Waves. They are betting on a split and will just replace IOUs with coins when they get it. Remember there is a difference between a wallet on the chain and an internal accounting/trading system. You can trade without having the coins and do a journal entry later in the backend.

So technically it's just a display for future BCC that will be replaced with real BCC once it's live... and since it's yobit they can always put "maintenance" when it doesn't work...

I am pretty sure they have billions of dollars allready. And as you say, they will maintain the price for a long time. I can only see the logic in this action if they actually think the price will rise, and the question is if they have dollars to do so?

I really dont understand why they will put all their asics to mine this cash coin.
It's going to be pretty clear that it's more profitable to mine BTC, and then miners will move away from btccash.

No matter how they come out of this fork, they will be richer

Until the next difficulty change for Bitcoin Cash that is then things will get crazy, it might take a while, it might take years but that little blip will initiate the sequence.
