No probs, you will buy higher up then  Smiley

In a few months time, you will be telling people to buy 8mb BCH because your troll friends will try to keep the old chain alive.
Im sure you will do the same thing you did before, tell people to buy clashic ...but this time you will say buy the 8mb.

Thing is , everyone has to hodl BCH now till the fork if they want free coins from the soon to be previous fork.  Cheesy

To say 0.17 has been available for a few days i'm not seeing any 0.17 nodes lets see how many don't upgrade there are a lot of non supporters for enabling the OP_CODES

Do you like the feeling knowing the ABC devs will implement whatever they want and push it as a forced fork every 6 months

The main ABC dev deadalnix is supposed to have been pain by bitmain for 12 months work this is just a rumor but if this is true lets see if he carries on working for free if bitmain don't continue to fund him

lol Its open source bro...im sure bitmain cant pay him more than what he can earn by using his brain and being innovative.
Also when a coin is improving, upgrading, updating, yes it may require regular forks.
Ive been through so many forks bro , i dont fear them...Darkcoin forked weekly for months to implement the masternode system, eth forks regularly to add upgrades too.

Right heres the thing, og btc was stagnent since 2011, once satoshi left, nothing happened, no innovation, innovation requires HARD FORKS.
Thanks to core btc lost its dominance because innovation moved to altcoins...we got smart contracts on eth and privacy coins and faster cheaper coins.
All this innovation is now coming back to bitcoin via Bitcoin Cash...so yes regular hard forks will be essential for BCH to become #1

biggger blocks, privacy options and more are part of BCH roadmap and the community is 100% behind it.

Not even 1 long term bitcoin cash hodler on this forum has complained about the upgrades.  Tongue

A hard fork is necessary sometimes but shouldn't be on a fixed schedule it should only be done when absolutely necessary bitcoin users are not against increasing the blocksize it will happen but right now with segwit almost all upgrades can happen with a soft fork or sidechain/drivechain where some bad code cannot affect the main chain.

What happens once all opcodes get re-enabled and some smart hackers find a way to do serious damage or some bug gets passed that effectively kills the chain BTC1 (S2X) had a huge bug that caused the chain to stall prematurely something like this can happen again at ANY scheduled HF its still a high risk just because it's never happened don't mean it won't happen

The EDA was supposed to be the greatest difficulty adjustment and it got gaimed to hell and the same dev is responsible for code breaking changes

Bitcoin ABC:0.14 has 35 Listening Nodes (EDA)
Bitcoin ABC:0.15 has 15 Listening Nodes (EDA)
Bitcoin ABC:0.16 has 859 Listening Nodes (DAA)
Bitcoin ABC:0.17 has 0 Listening Nodes (15th May HF available now)

Yes old nodes are being kept alive I still have a Bitcoin ABC:0.15 pruned node running but this wouldn't be needed if the chain just stalled as you could just use the existing chain BUT if a huge breaking bug got found later on say 1 month in then what would you do roll back the chain 1 month ?

There is a probability of any HF introducing a breaking bugs when making huge changes that could takes weeks to find
Most coders are used to patch if needed but with bitcoin most things need to be perfect and bug free from the start there is no room for mistakes

https://www.cryptoglobe.com/latest/2018/04/bitcoin-cash-hard-fork-in-may-will-have-ethereum-like-features/

May 15, 2018, and will introduce a larger block size and some new operational coding.

The block size will increase to allow blocks of up to 32MB in an effort to allow more transactions at greater speeds, scaling the blockchain with the ever-increasing user base. Séchet also pointed out that new OP-codes (operation codes) and color coin technology could allow the introduction of basic smart contracts and representative assets to the BCH network in a move deliberately designed to emulate Ethereum's qualities.

Bitcoin ABC is not the only BCH client - others, like Bitcoin Unlimited and Bitcoin X have apparently also agreed to adopt the new changes. In an intrview at Satoshi's Vision conference, when asked about whether having multiple implementations of BCH was a complication, Séchet said he felt it benefitted the community to have different versions for a number of reasons, stating that different client implementations meant the network could go on if there was a bug. He also pointed out that "if one client started going rogue it would start to lose market share and another client will gain that market share. It’s keeping everybody honest."

Bitcoin Cash  is now 645 dollars, the front is large, now it looks shrinking, and then the price is basically cross, in the decline in shrinkage, representing the air force temporarily no energy.

I can see a BCH split sometime this year with the amount of disagreements going off though

Hmm. So are you saying that BCH:
1) is tightly controlled by a centralized cabal; or
2) splintering in fractious discord?

It can't be both. Pick a narrative and stick with it, willya?

Both Bcash has a following of gullible people that believe everything that some claim like CSW, Ver etc because they don't have the technical knowledge to know any different so "trust" in someone that appears very smart

But as more changes are happening there is more friction being created as the changes are being forced through a HF with a either upgrade or f##k off approach and the smarter ones are starting to speak out and will eventually leave the cartel by eather forking off again or going back to BTC

I've noticed some have recently started following lightning labs etc and could already be weighing up the best approach going forward.

While BTC is using a much safer SF method where if you agree with changes you can upgrade without issues and if you do not agree and don't upgrade you won't be forced off the network and everything will run just as before

My LN nodes are running just fine not had any issues with them I've opened and closed a few now using the various different implementations with my latest being LND

https://1ml.com/node/0353849a780d7ae1b27567d83a20302cc49af057eef883d5eca6446e3900e99567/history

There's not much on it around 1 million Satoshis fee free to steal them you know with it being to easy and all that

haha call us dumb.  see how far that gets you.. lol

soft forks safer?  now who is the dumb one?

hey i dont know if this question was already asked in this thread but, do you think that bitcoincash would be able to hold its value, if bitcoin is getting its lightning network estabilished ?

No it wasn't.
It was just a temporary solution that devs had to develop in a month of time.

Yes, and there might be sth real about it if you follow how VitalikB got triggered.

Anyway, competition and little drama show is always good to get over bear markets.
