segwit is just as safe

A citation for your grandiose claim might lend your declaration some modicum of credibility. But actually, Segwit implements a completely new -- and consequently untested -- security model.

Anyone with a campaign ad in their signature -- for an organization with which they are not otherwise affiliated -- is automatically deducted credibility points.

I've been convicted of heresy. Convicted by a mere known extortionist. Read my Trust for details.
Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

Segwit has been used and heavily tested on litecoin for about a year and even had a Honeypot address with $1m in for  half of that time never to be stolen and its now been active on Bitcoin for 6 months with zero issues

One of the BCH malfix proposals is similar to segwit by moving the signatures to the end of the block not really looked into it but I think the only real difference is that segwit uses a second merkle tree to keeps backwards compatibility

I am sure that CSW doesn't want to be known as Satoshi - he regretted any statements he made to support that idea. He definately has the background and motivation.

Bitcore already accomplished, what EVERY Bitcoin fork claimed to be forking for.

Except market adoption. Interesting what is exactly it accomplished?

Larger block, shorter block times, and more transactions per day.

Bad day for the Kore trolls - Peter Todd turned sour on Lightning.

https://twitter.com/peterktodd/status/968190536812236802

Quote
As for the Lightning protocol, I'm willing to predict it'll prove to be vulnerable to DoS attacks in it's current incarnation, both at the P2P and blockchain level. While bad politics, focusing on centralized hub-and-spoke payment channels first would have been much simpler.

OUCH. We all knew this anyway, but having a guru such as Todd lay it out is another nail in the coffin.

And Blockstream is officially on life support.

BCH/BTC pair is eyeing 0.1, anyone else going to buy there?

The splitting of the bitcoin consensus leads to the BCH, which is sticking to the big block route, and has now stabilized at the top five of the market value. The bit cash fee is low, the transfer is faster and the payment route is taken.

BCH's disk features and LTC are very similar, soaring and tumbling, and the market is very fast. It's the least recommended currency. The height of the station will be beyond your imagination.

Well, it isn't an •graphic, but you can get good info at cashvscore.com .

This week the Bitcoin Cash network has gained more infrastructure support from a variety of crypto-based businesses.

At least three companies announced Bitcoin Cash support: Unocoin launches it`s exchange that lists BCH, Paybis allows BCH purchases using credit cards,  Bread Wallet will be supporting BCH.

Additionally, new ATMs were installed in Canada and UK.
