Invest in the altcoin because I think this would be a smart choice as there are so many altcoin that can rise while bitcoin is pumping. Does this mean you can get double profit from altcoin and bitcoin!

Getting you involved in this bitcoin and altcoins are best. Now a days, as the altcoins are growing and have better buying prices that are somehow affordable. Still like you have said, holding is better, I will go against this. Reason is, holding altcoins are not good because altcoins market is not that much rehabilitative as bitcoin. Once it goes down, it is not likely to come up against soon.

I got your point when you say altcoin price is more affordable and its true.
I have not much fund so i choose to hold or trade altcoin which has small or low value in the market.

the best investment for now is ethereum, because ethereum prices are so stable so if you invest in ethereum you will get a stable profit ...

i think in this crypto market, investing in bitcoin and both altcoins will be the most productive way to earn profit, bitcoin is being used and well known to all investors around the world, so investing bitcoin for long term rightnow is a good idea now. but  we should invest in altcoins like ETH or new altcoins too, we can earn profit from trading them for short term to maximize our profit.

If someone tells you what to invest, then I would say bitcoin. Because, bitcoin is good for long-term investment. It is easy to invest, less risk and profit more.Like the bitcoin, altcoin does not offer such facilities. So, I think it is better to invest Bitcoin than the altcoin.

I will totally concur to this point and will add to the given info that right now the price of the bitcoin is not that high that it will be a problem for the investor and if you pick up any survey or the research or the prediction on the basis of the market analysis, you will come to know that bitcoin is going to be very profitable in the coming days and just like the old prediction, the price has crossed the $10k threshold and before mid April, it is going to cross the $15 k value. Yeah the simple answer same as you is bitcoin is the best investment right now the reason is that profit of bitcoin is higher than the risk in it, but in altcoins you will meet the risk at the beginning and it will remain the same throughout the investing session, bitcoin has high potential to increase and the history of bitcoin is enough to make the difference between bitcoin and altcoins, bitcoin has strong background history while other altcoins are just invented with poor history.

I also get to face such difficult situations when bitcoin price comes and low and i want to invest but then again, a new promising altcoin comes on board and its difficult to choose which one to invest in. The best solution i always take is bitcoin since bitcoin is here to stay forever. The bitcoin trust is great.
