If I planned on buying some coins today. Which would be the better long term investment, and why?
As of now, bitcoin’s value is not really that high, so I would go on investing on bitcoin because it is much cheaper these days. Although, it’s not totally bad to invest on altcoins, but in bitcoin’s current status, I’d probably use the opportunity to earn more by investing. I currently have an investment on bitcoin, that’s why I am confident to suggest it. |

both are the same. Well, altcoin and bitcoin have their respective deficiencies and advantages. Well, if you want a quick investment, then, altcoin is the answer.
Imho nowadays Bitcoin is a better bet. If Bitcoin falls, it drags the altcoins with it. If Bitcoin grows, the altcoins will have a delay in following that growth. So right now Bitcoin is the better choice and there will be a moment, after Bitcoin growth/recovery, when moving some of the funds into altcoins will make the profit increase even more. |

Both bitcoin are good investment. Altcoin in particular is dirt cheap right now. You can get quality altcoin at ridiculous price. Bitcoin is at is year low. I will advice anyone that hope to make good money to go on shopping sprey on crypto right now.

Both for me because you canmot atick into one investment in this time because that is gonna box you and will not be abake to grow your money that fast there are a lot of altcoins out there that are gonna be successful and can grow your moneyball the waysl through the moon and butcoins still can do that to you but dont you want to have a double moon in the future and it will also be a back up plan if you do not wanted and you are afraid to lose. |

all us agree that at this point, bitcoin price give big discount.and for anyone that buying it they will get big profits if they hold untill at this last year.but investing in crypto need brave heart and good mentality. |

In fact, investment in altcoin may help you make a profit faster but the risk is very high because only bad news, the price may fall quickly within a day but if investment In Bitcoin, your risk ratio is likely to decrease, but your profits will increase very slowly. So I would prioritize investing in altcoins more because the chances of becoming richer would also be faster and the risk would also increase very high. |

It is better to choose in investing to bitcoin. Altcoins is more affordable than bitcoin. But bitcoin is more profitable than bitcoin.
If you invested today in bitcoin, in just 3-5 times pumping you can earn a good profit to it. Just think wisely you can surely get a profit to it.

Bitcoin is good investment you can hold it for a years because it has great potential in the future. Currently bitcoin is more feasible due to an upward trend, but traders spend more time in altcoin due to faster fluctuations, we can still earn profits even though the coins are red. Bitcoin is the first crypto currency that we meet. Which I can easily prove that this the best one thing that really helps me a lot

Bitcoin of course, short term or long term holding will do as the price increases slowly but surely. And it wont harm you either, like bitcoin now is facing issue but we're all hoping for the best outcome. Like your portfolio should be 70% bitcoin and 30% altcoin.

I think the best longterm investments even for newbies are the top20 altcoins. Theres a reason why they are in the top20. The most of them have a very strong dev team behind, and they have good plans. Those coins are stabil, and you dont have to fear that it somedays nobody will work on it and let the coin become worthless. Like Waves or Neo. They have big plans for the future, for integrate smart contracts like on ethereum on their own blockchain!

I have invested in both Bitcoins and altcoins, although by net worth more than 80% of my portfolio is solely made up of Bitcoin. I don't have anything against the altcoins. Some of them (especially Bitcoin Cash, Byteball, Monero.etc) looks quite promising. But I don't want to take too much risk, by investing a large part of my money on altcoins.

I think it is better to invest in both: Bitcoin and the most promising altcoins, like Ethereum, Ripple and Litecoin, and some other good coins with high potential. The whole crypto market is still down, and almost all the prices are low, so it is good to buy many coins and holding them until the market go up again.

Personally I still like to own BTC and Altcoin like ETH, NEO. Right now, the market value is declining. altcoin is still valuable to generate profit by day or short term. Meanwhile, great opportunity to buy BTC at low prices. It is very beneficial to hold on for a long time. Choosing both will give us many plans and strategies to match the trend or change of the market.
