What can made through altcoins can never be compared to what holding btc would give. Holding altcoins with good project is far more important to me than holding btc... I disagree with you in terms of investing big into bitcoin is the only way to earn big profit because I believe the time purchase or invest is the thing that will determine profit. Example, those that invest $500 into Bitcoin back in year 2016 are now having thousand of dollar in their pocket.
