Not mixing God into this - state has no authority to take away lives from others. I mean, maybe if society could decide in a vote, but not as an act of state.

I believe that we just borrow our lives from God. And He is the only one who have right to take them away from us.
I think some people deserve death penalty because their crime is unimaginable, and you cant even consider them human because of the crime that they had done. |

Yes, you are right that only God has the right to take our life. But what if one of your family will be the victim, will you still stand firm in your decision to say no to death penalty? Well, I guess, you will change your mind right? It's easy for you to say no because you have no family that is victimized by those people who don't have heart to feel pity of those innocent people they killed. Think about the people who seek for justice but was not given even one of it. |

Depends on how good the evidence against them and what the crime is. The punishment might not be enough to completely stopping crime, but if it saves just one future victim, it's worth the deterrent effect.

God given us authority in this world, for me yes I agree in death penalty, why? because we need to set a rule, to discipline those people who committed crime, only for those people who committed heinous crime should be punished by death penalty, such as massacre, corruption, kidnapping with ransom and more, adopting death penalty could help to erradicate crime committed in our society that's why I favored in death penalty.

And even if the death penalty is given, it is not the end of the road. I gree because only God can take our lives but i dont agree in death penalty because we dont have right to take others life .God gives us our life i know life is a precious from God and for me only can God have a right to give a punishment for us. |
