Does the pool collect blocks in the main circuit? Or in the test? How do I connect to the pool in the main circuit?
We havent released it for general consumption, but it is running a prod branch, so feel free to hop in the pool and mine against prod.

Yes, for now be sure to use 24 threads or less in the pool.  During all the debugging I had to limit it as I thought we were ddossing ourselves.

We can work on that later once we solve this diminishing KHPS issue.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2070177.msg20874585#msg20874585

Current pool is pointed at production chain, its still in testing but seems to be working quite well

1. Downloaded latest wallet from http://biblepay.org/
2. Set up account and worker ID on pool website:  http://pool.biblepay.org
3. Set in biblepay.conf:

poolport=80
pool=http://pool.biblepay.org
workerid=the_worker_id
gen=1
genproclimit=1

4. Start your wallet, boom!

Notes:
- if the pool goes down it should put you on solo mining
- about 5% of miners are currently on the pool so far
- theres currently a limit of 24 threads per worker
- there is currently an issue where 10% of miners slowly get knocked off the pool, dev is working on that issue today
- sometimes to log back into your account on pool website you have to press logout first
- the network hash rate has been identified as being wrong and may be 100x what it shows
- pool is still in testing

Report any issues in BiblePay Pool Testing Thread:

I have set the settings in the config file, but it seems that the pool is down.

hmmm, pool website is working for me,

reloaded my wallet and typed mininginfo and saw the pool info

getmininginfo
{
  "blocks": 3272,
  "currentblocksize": 1000,
  "currentblocktx": 0,
  "difficulty": 0.02596730643410695,
  "errors": "",
  "genproclimit": 2,
  "network_khashps": 1457.753675257911,
  "hashps": 24528.80481368526,
  "minerstarttime": "08-15-2017 19:27:40",
  "pooledtx": 0,
  "testnet": false,
  "chain": "main",
  "biblepay-generate": true,
  "poolinfo1": "",
  "poolinfo2": "",
  "poolinfo3": "",
  "miningpulse": 715,
  "poolmining": true
}

and then on the Account page of the pool website: http://pool.biblepay.org/Account.aspx
Should be able to see your workers and their HPS

Workers - main
Username:   togo_w1   Threads:   1   HPS:   24502.98   Notes:

It took a few minutes for this to finally show up with an HPS after restarting my wallet/miner

i've 6 separate vps, each identifying as a separate worker (ye1, ye2, ye3, ye4, ye5 & ye6)

initially i thought the workerid was main username - so i limited each vps to 4 threads only (6x4=24).
still getting banned?

or is it 24 threads per workerid?

seems to flick on/off pool mining..

It would be nice eventually-- but --its also nice to be a hidden diamond and ensure all of our kinks are worked out and let everyone buy us cheap for a while.

Yeah, we might still have a limit of 100 hits per IP per minute also; try temporarily lowering the threads for a couple days and once the new version comes out we can raise the limit per IP per minute.

Lol, you have hash/s as the rest of the pool, all users combined. What CPUs are in those VPSs if I may ask?

amazon ec2 64core nodes (x6)
seem to be moving the chain for the entire pool aha

ah, i see; its some sort of getwork-style protocol via http
i've recently come off a few projects developing several stratums that would be ideal for this - if dev would like to get in contact.

i'm paying roughly 1/4 of that per vps.
i am (was) developing a stratum for minexcoin; these certainly come in handy..
