360 vr videos is one of the reasons why vr/ar technology has not taken off yet, it is not good enough to reach mass adoption

Do you mean people who don't have VR glasses yet and are on the fence about buying them, are put off when they try the 360 VR videos on their 2D screen?

That is the beautiful thing about Virtual Reality, we will be creating hundreds of environments for dating locations. Down Manhattan, the grand canyon, a beach in thailand, a city block with a nice feel. are some examples

Then attend marketplaces for watching a live show, attend a education lesson of their preference. Also like you mentioned we we will have in app games as well for things like going on a rollercoaster or take a boat ride, have the feeling of sky diving. The possibilities really are endless

I think we even cant imagine what VR will be like in lets say 5 years.
There are ideas now and we think thats impossible or we just make fun of it. But there will be a time (children from my children) that will be living most of there time in VR. Its sounds scary but look what happened with using our smarthphone/tables...

VR will be the our new life!

When i think about vr, i think like cell phones.

How was first cell phones like and now. At first they was huge, only talk. And now think about it.

Vr is a very advanced system but it is only in the beginning phase. In years it will get smaller, cheaper, more additional parts and become more    functional.

Vibehub will grow with it, expand with it.

Still, there are many people completely don't understand the concept of this VR system because it's very new technology and to establish this new technology will attract more in coming days.

That is what I love about this community...Futurist, and like minded ppl...thanks for the support
Be open minded is why we joined cryptos in the first please. Another reason is because we're tired of traditional financial world and another reason are all this futuristic projects popping up

For a lot of people, the allure of riches and early retirement is the main reason why they first step into the world of crypto. But I'm sure that like myself, many people have found genuine interest in the crypto space after discovering the cornucopia of new ideas and projects.

They are not immersive enough and don't provide the quality of technology to reach mass adoption in itself. 360 videos will have their place in VR like a twitch platform for 360 videos would work really well IMO, however to reach mass adoption users will have to be in a completely immersive experience with advanced technology that absolutely wows users, this is required to achieve mass adoption

Technology that wows users and good applications that appeal to the general public Smiley  Like VibeHub Smiley

This is why we feel holoportation technology is so important for us and our investors, this technology is absolutely going to wow users and we are using it in a way that appeals to the general public

Sounds very interesting. So people will can choose places for dating? Its will be a big list of places?

Damn that a thing from another world. I just need a girlfriend though or maybe I can find a virtual girlfriend on Vibehub  Grin
I think to implement locations wouldn't be very hard. I am sure they will offer a great range of different places to date.

I thought more along the line that watching the 360 VR Videos on Youtube without VR glasses but on a standard screen deters people from trying more immersive experiences such as the VR games available in the Steam and Oculus libraries.

give it time man. this is still uncharted territory. the tech will improve with time , become cheaper and then mass adoption will come.

In   Q3   2019   we   will   be   expanding   to   provide   other   services   such   as   VibeHub   Da7ng,   VibeHub   Teaching   and   VibeHub   Gaming.

sounds interesting.. but to long to wait this... Its will be free or paid dating? Can you tell me, how people will dating?

wowowowowowow! didnt tought about this opportunity yet! i dont think it would be paid dating like prostitution.

But creating a VR Dating Plattform with a payment model simular to other normal dating platforms would be a thing!!!

Yes it will free. but plenty of room for add ons like enhanced profiles, unlimited matches and then users will pay for events, gifts etc and we can match singles on their interests

thats exactly what i meant! awesome! Which kind of events are ther going to be? like take a ride on a VR rollercoaster together?

Loveboat ride in VR Smiley

hahaha
maybe the founders of VibeHub can give answers for possible dating locations HuhHuh so curious!!!

the more i read about this project, the more im into it - i think i have to get more coins than i thought.

its a bit creepy though. watching dead people perform in front of you like it was real.
well, like the first comment said. If we have a holograpic recording of it. it will work but i doubt we have.

Well, I think right now it's more because of the lack of good applications and of the price than because of 360 vr videos of something like this.

Strangely enough I think the tech will 'decline' instead of improve.

Now I'm just playing words there. What I mean is that I think the future VR tech will go in a direction you won't expect.

The majority of the people have low spec computers. The Oculus Rift kit is on sale down to $400 and it's still not low enough to sway the masses, so I'm going to assume a target price of a low-medium phone ~$150.

Either computers have to become a 1000% faster so that current hardware becomes 95% cheaper (eg. $3000 Hololens => $ 150), or the software has to become 1000% faster so it runs on current low spec hardware. The prior is mainly bound to the laws of physics, so we can eliminate that option.

Basically it's going to be at most a $150 phone attached to your head. And it can't rely on a powerful PC either like the Oculus Rift and the Vive, because that would increase the total cost far beyond $150.

So besides 360 VR video which doesn't require a lot of processing power but has the lack of interactivity, future VR is going to have either less fidelity (Facebook Spaces seems to take that route with their cartooney AR) or something clever. Therefore I wonder what the hardware requirements are for VIBEHub.

You can already see this direction is happening with the spiritual successors of the Hololens being cheaper but less powerful.

No, i dont want it to replace something in our lives and become a new lifestyle.
My big hope is it can be used to be an alternative to various things and also become a hobby with a very large community such as soccer/football and many others.

Maybe you're right maybe not, only the future will tell, VIBEHub is exploring a new territory which is education via VR, we don't know which players will join the game, maybe an important university see this opportunity and will spend a lot of money in research for holoportation and other technologies

That seems like an impossible goal but you never know. Even if if won't be achieved it will stand somewhere around 80k ETH and that's also not a bad figure.
