great project .. nice community
There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Dear all,

I get an error message starting the swing wallet.

Error:

A general unexpected critical error has occurred:
error: couldn't connect to server: EOF reached (code 1)
(make sure server is running and ou are connecting to the correct RPC port)
See the console/logfile output for more detailed error information!

2018-03-20 21:35:22 Shutdown: done

-> Can sombody support me in this error message how to fix it?
-> How to start the wallet with the addition of "-reindex" ?

I was able to start the wallet, but now suddenly this error message appear starting the swing wallet.
I did download the latest wallet (ZENCashDesktopGUIWallet_0.80.5.zip),
but still I get this error message.

The following step-by-step guide for Windows users (created by a third party) is very handy:
https://miningwithnvidia.com/2018/02/09/zencash-wallet-eof-reached-code-1/

"The ZEN private keys are located in the wallet.dat file in directory:

Windows: %APPDATA%/Zen/
Mac OS: ~/Library/Application Support/Zen/

To make sure your ZEN is not lost, the most important thing is to keep a backup copy of your wallet.dat file - it must never be lost! It may be copied manually when the GUI wallet/zend are not running. The wallet.dat needs to be backed up regularly (not just once - say after every 30-40 outgoing transactions) and it MUST also be backed up after creating a new Z address. "

From Developer!

I'm seeing more posts of people saying their website has more zen wallets, or that their website/online store accepts zen as payments (like the two posts above mine).

Do the zencash team have a spot on their website with accredited/agreed businesses or websites where it is 'safe' to do business in zencash? Or is it a bit of a free for all and anyone can start accepting zen?

It is totally different ... Don't combine both ..
for my case I am accepting ZenCash as a payment on my online store as a support to Crypto I am investing in ...
there are some important points I would like to highlight
1) There is no risk for you as a customer as long as you can check if this website is legit or not ...
2) The risk is for me and I accept to take this risk as part of my believe in crypto
3) If all of us deal with crypto as trading for fiat we destroy the main point of crypto which is changing the payment system
4) my point of view is we should all accept crypto as payment to our small business, we should trade crypto for goods
see my only post on steemit:  https://steemit.com/maincategory/@amtarek23/believers-not-traders

Also I am on the way to contact marketing team for possible ideas to offer special ZenCash products for dear community ..
Crypto give as a win-win situation for all parties ..
thx for your post and hope I clarified my thoughts

https://masternodes.online/

Can anyone find ZenCash on the website above?  If not, why do you think this is the case?

How many coins total are needed for mining?

Which wallet do you put your coins in for mining?

Thank you,   G.P.

I do not know how the merit system works on this site, but if you can is it worth giving me some merit?   Grin

It seems there are glitches that pop up when loading and syncing the ZenCash Swing Wallet to the blockchain. Do those glitches give me a warning signal that I should not use this wallet? This is the developers wallet. Has anyone had serious problems with this wallet?  If so, please tell us what you experienced. Which wallet works best for you?  I can mine ZenCash coins with my coins staked in this wallet?  Any problems doing that with this wallet?

Thank you

While all this FUD with child porn on bitcoins blockchain happening now, I want to ask a question. Will ZenPub have some protection from such content? Cause, unfortunately, there are many freaks in this world, how can we protect our Zen network from them?
