Is anyone updating the Community VPS List? The options seem to be getting smaller and smaller.

The options get updated mostly from community feedback for what people are actually using. But as the blockchain has grown, many providers are no longer price competitive or unable to run a ZEN node any longer due to no support for expanded volumes or additional disks. Until the price of ZEN moves up and the blockchain increases even more in size to where another new class of VPS makes sense to use, the number of viable VPS providers may decrease. Right now, it is more economical to have a hosting provider run your nodes for you than to run them yourself on a VPS. This is a pretty well understood concept by anyone with technical knowledge of how this marketplace works and what the future demands/needs will be.

I asked many times for lack of certain efforts and mostly received non-answers. When I point to problems, I get "You help fix it!" type answers. If I did not know better, I'd think Horizen is actively trying to stay under the radar for some reason. I just can't think of one valid reason why.

Team is putting a lot of efforts in meetups and direct communication with community, meeting new people and creating connections.

some vps only take two days, but one vps takes more than 4 days..

The instructions explicitly tell how to bootstrap from node to node.

The last monthly update didn't contain an update on VPN. Our primary focus is the release of Horizen sidechains.

Among project born in 2017, Horizen, (formerly ZenCash) is one of the strongest and most professional crypto currencies. It is not only reflected on the  survival of Horizen over months with Bear domination, but also demonstrated through the development of Horizen. It's the way Horizen team increased privacy of the coin, and created, then managed Horizen forum so well. I saw that active communication between Horizen team and their community is another plus point.

My i think last lesson here Crypto is for now... one big manipulation and winners are only there where is great marketing, hype... even fake news is important. Fundamentals means almost nothing yet in this area... without marketing it means nothing. You zencash, horizen still has no marketing and you don't see this problem... marketing is most important thing in crypto! There will be always many cypto coins, platforms better or worse... but at the and winners are only these people who know how to advertise, how important is marketing.

You even  lost power which you had from Palm Beach Research recommendation... and still you don't learn anything

I still have some horizen coins but if you don't change anything in this area (marketing)... i will change these coins to project, coins where marketing is very important and high level.... we will have new ATH for next 1-2 years on btc... don;t loose these days to advertise horizen like you lost last years in this area!

I believe this is one of the most promising projects regarding a complete privacy platform.
The team is very transparent en professional.

Like all other altcoins out there, ZEN is bleeding against a stronger bitcoin.
I believe the value of a project is not always in the price.

My advice for everybody is to do its own research. And if you are in "Crypto", golden rule is to arm yourself with patience. This is still relatively new industry and need some time to be accepted.

You always has answer/explanation... why horizen stands in place There were many chances to move this project to next level, make it more popular, more fameuos, be in top30-50 on coinmarket... Since few years you can't move stabilly to top100 on coinmarket - why? Because there is no marketing, never was and still nothing changed and learned. I suggested many times what you should do in many areas (marketing), i even wanted help (not now)... but i think you don;t see value in marketing, thats why horizen isn;t succesfull. It was good, such attitude 20 years ago, now almost everything is based on marketing, "selling ideas and plans" to people...

Because of PBR, their authority zencash then price move from $8-10 to more then $20-25 and many people because of them saw in this project value, future. This situation you also didn;t want to use to promote this project even more.

If you want to make something good to this project - hire somebody smart (marketing guru) who can make horizen popular (there is many ways to do it)
