ZEN is POW coin and it is generated through mining..Every found block is divided: 10% secure nodes, 10% super nodes, 10% treasury, 70% miners. Other pools and miners celebrating when Supernova is offline..

The proportional distribution scheme of Horizen block rewards looks very fairly for all, Secure nodes, Super nodes, Treasury, and miners.
The most interesting thing is 70% block rewards will be allocated to miners, which somehow present the important roles of miners on the Horizen network operation.
This one also demonstrates that Horizen is strictly sticked to its original ideas to build up a PoW coin.

I think I am about to give up on mining Horizen directly and switch to an autoswitching pool mining for Hub. Any recommendations? It seems MPH is the only option, and other major ones like Ahashpool, blazepool, etc. do not autoswitch to ZEN. Or is it better to earn BTC then manually trade for ZEN? I am currently looking into Megaminer, in fact running it one one rig.

Understandably over the past several months the ZEN difficulty has increased and also the profitability has decreased.

But in the past 48 hours on Mining Pool Hub and Supernova ZEN / ZEC has been near ZERO in "accepted" shares.

Has something happened that I am not aware of causing this significant drop?

Has there been a change to the algo?

ASIC mining has almost stopped on both of these mining pools.... anyone have the similar experience?

It seems this code is not for security reasons. Generation of this code is in similar manner like generation of password phrase, it use is maybe for restoring of account or something similar I think. Anyway write down everything and save an copy!
