Understandably over the past several months the ZEN difficulty has increased and also the profitability has decreased.

But in the past 48 hours on Mining Pool Hub and Supernova ZEN / ZEC has been near ZERO in "accepted" shares.

Has something happened that I am not aware of causing this significant drop?

Has there been a change to the algo?

ASIC mining has almost stopped on both of these mining pools.... anyone have the similar experience?

Have they stated that they have updated their software per https://blog.zencash.com/zen-software-upgrade-2-0-15/ ?

If they didn't things were going to deprecate on October 10.

yup that is mandatory update if you run a node or a pool. i even forgot about this. it would also be normal that the secure nodes have to make the update

yup that is mandatory update if you run a node or a pool. i even forgot about this. it would also be normal that the secure nodes have to make the update

Maybe they are having problems authenticating ASICs. If it was the software issue the would not be finding any blocks. Zen.zhash.pro and https://luckpool.net/zen/ are working fine.

Good question, probably no action needed, but better to be confirmed. I have some ZEN on Arizen wallet - version 1.2.0 - I know that is auto-updating but I opened it earlier and didn't ask for update.

It seems this code is not for security reasons. Generation of this code is in similar manner like generation of password phrase, it use is maybe for restoring of account or something similar I think. Anyway write down everything and save an copy!

Trading code is a password created by the user to protect funds.
You need to enter it before you trade and it needs to be different from your login password.

Hello guys,

I've been in crypto space for almost 2 years. I have seen the ups and downs down of crypto. Horizen (formerly known as Zencash) caught my attention along with various other promising projects.

Just a note : I do my research properly and proud to say that in this dangerous jungle, I have never been scammed or hacked.

So, coming back to the main point. I am really surprised by how much this team is dedicated and disciplined. I was very sad to hear they got attacked by 51% attack. But they handled it very well and in a very professional manner.

HoriZen recently released a patch with makes this attack very highly expensive and there my removing the economic incentive to perform this attack.

The best thing that I like about this project is their frequent updates to the community.
It's definitely to be a good bet for future.
