Hmmmm quick transactions, professional website, a reasonable re-target time, decent block reward. This could very well become something big IF the launch doesn't fail like elacoin.

this sounds like good one, at least from its professional website, as compared to the craps like FC2 (lol), I would like Bitcoin-2 better  Grin

Yeah lol. We need someone to set up a pool at launch for small miners like myself.

I vote for Paul he set up some awesome pools for the other coins like CNC.

Yeah I wrote about the same thing, a few months back about a currency that would regulate the profitability. Basically 5gh will always give you the same amount of earnings. As the reward block would adjust accordingly to difficulty.

15 second blocks?

Hello Orphans

+1

OMG, Seriously, people are just randomly changing numbers without knowing WHY those numbers should be what they are.

15 seconds isn't going to be enough for blocks to get from one side of the network to the other. A couple of miners are going to modify their clients to ignore other chains, and just mine everything themselves. With blocks only 15 seconds apart, it's going to be almost impossible to avoid multiple, simultaneous, attacks on the coin.

I read somewhere about checkpoints doesn't that stop this from happening?

So when this does launch... and instead of retargeting every 8 hours, it retargets every 1-2 hours (like most other new coins lately)... does this mean OP is yanking my blockchain?? XD

They see me minin'... they hatin'...

In order for this altcoin to succeed you need to be a really shitty developer, you can't release binaries, and you need to fuck up the genesis block creation.

Not trying to play Devils Advocate... but anyone think that maybe they created a new account so the name would match their coin in order to make it more professional, and create less confusion overall?

One of the retarded above, yes they are clearly identical even though feathercoin2 has a 2min. block and this one confirms almost instantly, but yes sorry ScamCoin2 already offers all of this.

Feathercoin 2 is just a joke. The first feathercoin didn't take off, a sequel isnt going to do any better...
